My nine year old son has contracted scabies from family members as much as we tried to avoid it. He is a child of divorce, so he goes between houses. We were midway our treatment at the time. it. Of course for ourselves, we did not use any doctor prescribed cream as you can make your own permethrin cream in your home and buy ivernectin paste on Amazon. It took us three rounds to get rid of ours the first time we had it and that time my wife did not see her son for over those 3 months because she did want to infect him. Somehow, unbeknownst to us, we are now infected again. We suffered from it last year from May through October. My son was seen by Wendell Garcia Ortiz, MD at the Beacon Medical Group in Granger, IN and was prescribed Eliminate (a trademark name for 5% Permethrin cream), however Dr. Ortiz would only write rash as the diagnosis. I questioned him why if he only diagnosed him as having a rash would he prescribe a insecticide for me to apply to my son's body. He gave me no rational answer except to say that it was inconclusive but he did show signs of scabies. I told him that I was not going to follow through with his medical advice considering he did not write the word scabies down as the diagnosis. I did not fill the prescription and will not fill the prescription for a $90 product that makes the crappy medical industry more money. I wonder how many doctors out there are afraid to write down the word scabies as a diagnosis on a piece of paper that is entered into the "system" enough times as perhaps it alerts somewhere as an epidemic that would have to be dealt with. So what kind of things are they writing down? I'm guessing things like rash or skin dermatitis. You can write down what you want on your paper in your office, but the fact that there is an epidemic of scabies out there and you are not officially reporting it, you are responsible for it getting worse and worse.Jun 7th, 2016Someone from Middletown, NJ signed.

Asking Congress to help us is like asking a shoemaker to fix our car. Congress knows nothing about Medicine. In fact, their training for office is identical to the training our presidents have for office, football player, sheriff, movie actor, pilot, soldier, teacher, clothing salesman, stock investor. Does this complete incompetence explain why America is in trouble? Congress spend trillions of dollars on health care, and the World Health Organization ranks America 72nd in Health Care; a major insurance company says 50% of the money is wasted; a 1 hour appendectomy costs $20,000; and 1 pill for Hepatitis costs $3,000. Kinda stupid, don?t you think? So, what can we do about our stupid, expensive medical system? Well, with all that money that congress spends on Health Care, we could replace our stupid county, state, and federal health departments with a National Medical Research Center that has local, 24 hour, walk-in, Hospital Clinics, staffed by scientists, who are connected, worldwide, and treat everything. If we had a system like that, we could have cured these microscopic biting mites, years ago.REPORT COMMENTS

My wife and I have dealt with this on and off for the past 7 years. We just got a new mattress and guess what... they are back! We have tried many things to rid us of these microscopic terrors. These remedies were only temporary. I run a dehumidifier in our bedroom 24-7 and keep our room 30-50% humidity all day (that's very dry for where we live). We've been running it for years and they are still alive. We have sprayed enzyme cleaner for many years and it does bring crawling and biting down but doesn't completely rid us of them. We tried diametacous earth before and about to go back to it, but have it everywhere (food grade that is). We are about to go back to tea tree cream for our bodies (they hate this). We are also moving soon, so tha will give us an opportunity to do some things during the move. My wife and I are extremely clean people. Many days we take two showers a day. We only use natural products in our defense of these microscopic biting mites. I will take some samples to the school that I work at to put under the scope. I should've used scopes at my school many years ago. I might just have to buy my own microscope to keep at home. I would like to believe that the government would take this seriously, but like many other things they will write it off as "crazy people". My wife and I are far from psychotic! We are highly spiritual, highly educated, and very clean. We have helped many people through the decades.REPORT COMMENTS

Something has got to be done for our healthcare system to begin acknowledging that just because we live in the USA and parasitic infections are not the norm, they do exist. Our healthcare is a fricking joke, not to mention trying to get help is even more of a joke. I have travelled the world for the past 16 years for work. While I do my best to take precautions, going on 3 years now, I caught something overseas. To date I've spent over $10,000 in medical costs; I've missed more work in 1 years time than I had in the previous 14; my quality of life has rapidly decreased and I still have no answers or relief. Not to mention, I have no idea if this is something that could wind up killing me.REPORT COMMENTS

It is good news hello someone in Fargo,ND To go nationwide and capture all or most parasite sufferers for studies, one would go NIH and work on raising funds to have the grants distributed to significant academic medical centers ( l live a stones throw from one of the most renowned center's) participated in multiple studies over the years in desperation to find a solution to my life altering agonizing affliction. Btw, it is astounding of those multiple ridiculous studies are being conducted and funded at times, making the media headlines, that it makes me more upset that thousands of us are merely dismissed and not taken seriously. On a footnote: 1.let us meet on a web site 2. Not all of us identify with a mite infestation Some refer to having become exclusive hosts to gnat like or other creature , either way it is a super abberant affliction for too many 3. To someone in Mayflower,AZ : that sticky stuff on body and environment I experience as well, terming it: cocoon is right on, endless details etc Who will ever listen, exhaustion has long set in along with financial/Health/Social ruin 4. Occurred to me recently: I go with a couple of $$$ grants in above mentioned fine institution, 'here is my donation now get me the best docs, scientists, lab service' Not only would I have never been ridiculed etc, I would have received concierge treatment, never seing a waiting room, in fact: "what else would you like to have done" would have been the common phraseREPORT COMMENTS

Mites want to kill us so they can live in peace Our immune system wants to kill the Mites, so we can live in peace As you can see, this is war and we want to win. Therefore, the next time a doctor calls you psychotic, say, ?Look, Doc, instead of calling me psychotic, why don?t you admit you?re not equipped to examine me microscopically. Furthermore, you have no lab where you can send me to be examined, microscopically. And, you can?t send me to our county, state, or federal health departments because they don?t accept undiagnosed patients. Even worse, you can?t send me anywhere because the whole world is not a modern medical system where doctors, scientists, and research laboratories are working together to solve our medical problems. In fact, a major insurance company tells us that half of those trillions dollars America spend on health care is wasted. So, Doc, don?t be surprised if I walk out your door saying, ?What a stupid medical system? Is this America or Slobovia?? Furthermore, why waste our time on Congress. They don?t really care about us, only our vote. So, why don?t we do it ourselves? Why don?t we make a deal with a research university to help us. It?s simple. Setup an escrow account. Collect donations. Then, when the account reaches the agreed to amount, the university begins research. And, since the university knows how to petition government for grants, they can petition Congress for us. Hmmmm, now, which university should we choose. Wouldn?t that be something, if we solved this problem ourself?REPORT COMMENTS

Therefs a difference between Medical Technology and Medical System. Our Medical Technology is awesome. From CAT scans to Transplants to Antibiotics, we are on the road to perfect health, for everyone. But. our medical system delivers this technology to the American people, and this system is backward, disconnected, and expensive. Consider this: Patient goes to doctor with sore throat ¨ doctor sends patient to Lab ¨ Lab reports Streptococcus ¨ doctor looks up Streptococcus in Drug Book and writes prescription ¨ patient takes prescription to pharmacy ¨ doctor, pharmacy, and lab collect $200 to $500 for their services. As you can see, these people are Techs. Anyone can do it. We need a Smart Medical System, regulated by the National Board of Medical Experts who fix prices and ensure the Competency and Integrety of the system. In this system, we go online and connect with the NMRC web page ¨ fill in the disease reporting form or talk with a Tech ¨ identify our symptoms, disease, and possible tests and treatments ¨ go to a nearby NMRC medical center for tests and treatment. This system will speed up treatment and reduce costs, dramatically. Also, these Mites would have been detected decades ago. Once again, our Medical Technology is awesome. Our Medical System is stupid. The World Health Organization ranks America 72nd in Health Care. Insurance companies love our Medical System because it forces us to buy health insurance. One medical bill could wipe us out. This is another reason we need a Board of Medical Experts.REPORT COMMENTS

Onset of intense itching to fibers, to the inability to clean the biofilm from floors effectively. It is contagious as my family dogs, husband children and grandchildren are showing symptoms and lesions. Someone has to know something about this! Due to the scale of this they are brushing it under the rug. A Pandemic on a global scale and no cure in sight. God is in control, despite man's intentions. The body can be killed but the soul it HiS! My mother died of this due to complications of it. At the times I didn't understand what she had, why she never saw a doctor (her father was a physician) and why her last words to me as she turned to her side to rest into her death a few hours later, "...keep an eye on yourself!" She knew something was deeply wrong and could be caught. Be wise others keep asking, keep seeking, and keep knocking. I have no answers, only speculations, and lots of questions for the CDC. Why are we being ignored? If we are all delusional, at the very least, the CDC should be doing research on a mass of people jumping time & going crazy. I don't have Morgellons. I don't have fibers coming out of my skin. I have something consuming me from the inside out. I feel like a cocoon. Biofilm is a major part of this for me. There is a sticky substance covering my entire body, that appears to be keeping the demon scourge in tact. I have tried everything but gasoline to break it down. Listerine (regular) I buy the cheap version, because I use loads of it...temporarily helps. I pour it on my scalp & everywhere else. Sea salt and very warm water, baking soda mixed w/warm water gets some of it off. My hair and scalp stay coated in the rubbery crap. It has to be protecting whatever is making a meal out of me. These things bite me, and they are taking my sight as well. I agree about pooling together to hire a microbiologist, or entomologist to help us find answers. I am PAST sick and tired of being ignored and disrespected. I'm sick of sick as well. Can't help but wonder who is responsible for our misery. Why is this being swept under a rug? How many people know what is really going on. How long has this been going on? I'm six years into this, and the devastation is off the charts. I don't make much money, but I am more than willing to pay my share of the cost to save my life, or at least my children/grandchildren's lives. The situation is CRIMINAL.REPORT COMMENTS

I had bites last summer from oak mites and was so thankful to see cold weather come. Now I am having symptoms again even though the oak mites were supposed to no longer pose a problem after last season's outbreak. It must be due to some kind of mite although I have no idea what kind. I googled for information and came upon this site. I am so alarmed at the enormity of the problem and the despair it can cause not alone the physical discomfort and emotional toll from dealing with the problem and not wanting to spread it to others. I am determined not to give into fear. Isn't it ironic that the system which is supposed to help us does not and even increases our fears and makes it harder for us to maintain hope?REPORT COMMENTS

I have been afflicted by a condition my infectious disease doctor diagnosed me with which he refered to as Morgellons. This diagnosis was reached after an unsuccessful Lyme disease treatment that required IV antibiotics that spanned for over six months. My infectious disease Doctor said this was at the center of the discussion during Lyme disease convections and unfortunately, it was way over his head. He recommended diatomaceous earth and sent me on my way. This was over 6 years ago and suddenly my hair completely fell out after that at the age of 24. That's when I decided to treat this affliction the best I could myself by managing my diet, correcting nutritional deficiencies, researching and consuming supplements that ward off diseases. This has by far helped the most in managing my chronic pain, fatigue and an array of other miserable symptoms. My hair eventually grew back and it is longer than ever before although it is INFESTED with fibers that are easily seen by the naked eye. I am a young, pretty, educated professional and mother who feels ridiculed by the medical community. I wish these cases could be taken serious because whatever you want to call it...
