JOIN FREE: Federal Class Action for U.S. Child Custody Victims - Friends, I just joined CAPRA as one of the lead plaintiffs in an upcoming landmark federal class action lawsuit against all 50 States and the Federal Government, because I qualify as: (1) a biological parent whose child custody was unconstitutionally removed without due process; and, (2) I have been directly impacted by that during the last four years, i.e., within the statute of limitations. This class action is on behalf of *both* types of "family court" -- for wrongful victims of divorce-and-similar-with-kids *and* for wrongful victims of child protection services -- and includes suing on behalf of ANY parent affected by either "family court" type. It's totally free to join, and the federal court relief being demanded includes the full restoral of my child custody rights under law, plus a nice share of the large amount in civil damages expected. Check it out! It just requires entering someone's referral Code to join, so PLEASE use mine - 42085JL619 - in the CAPRA registration form, located on the bottom of the homepage at http://parentalrightsclassaction.com Plus, check out their power-packed Legal Tips page for all parents fighting family court, too -- Wow!! Thanks!! -

Its really sad that men have all the finicial responsibility. Women can go and pop out as many kids they want by different men, live in their parents house, not pay Bill's, and use child support against the man if he makes her mad. They stay in the club 24/7 and don't even have their children. Pathetic world we live in!!!!REPORT COMMENTS

I would sign this petition if I thought it would make it better for everyone all around. I left my abusive ex after 20 years and 11 children. Of the 11 children, 7 are still at home with me and 6 are under 18. My child support order is a measley $31.78/week FOR ALL 6 CHILDREN TOTAL. I'm disabled and can't work in my field full time but I have to because without supplementing our income, my ss income will not even cover my rent in this small apartment. There are two sides to this story and for some reason these men and new lovers forget that there are children, real boys and girls, who do not have their father and would love to. These guys father only interested in what he can use his children for. He only keeps in touch with the children who are financially supporting him (lives with one without paying rent, gets money from another) however, the children who have nothing to give him, he has little to no contact with them. The children still at home he either drills them about what I'm doing, who I'm with, etc. or he send them nasty messages (full of profanity) telling them how much of a whore I'm supposed to be and telling them to call me names. Some of these fathers are are just lying abusive men who are just now using another avenue to abuse the recipient of their abuse because they have no other outlet. This one, when he can't contact me or the children, then he drinks himself to a stupor. His alcoholism is so bad that when he gets up in the morning, the first thing he does is throw up then he has to go and get his alcoholic drink to settle his stomach. This is the man YOU ALL are fighting for. What about us, I ask?REPORT COMMENTS

My ex-wife will not let me see my children and has turned them against me; she will not let me see them, but is very greedy. She wants me to pay child support for my children that I cannot even see nor spend time with. The laws really need to change! It's very unfair, it should be 50/50. My ex-wife works too and she can help in supporting them but all she cares about is the money and I feel my children need me as their father. I don't even have any money to hire an attorney to take her to court. Therefore, there is just no way out. I have tried talking to my ex-wife and she will not even listen to me. Like I say the laws really need change, it's not fair to us fathers.REPORT COMMENTS

I am recently divorced and unemployed. The court set child support at $1150/month. I have been diagnosed as disabled and unable to work in the my field of employment. The amount of child support I am charged with exceeds my current income and ability to earn. My ex actually committed perjury in court and is receiving what I believe to be fraudulent food stamps etc. I am being threatened with jail if I don't pay up. Also the Divorce Decree mentioned that I have resources to aid in paying child support and legal fees for my ex by begging help from my family. This is an outrage. The courts and legal system should have no right to expect me to burden my extended family for the mistake I made in marrying my ex.REPORT COMMENTS

I believe the way child support is determined is ridiculous! I was with a woman who after her sister had a baby begged me to have a baby with me, stated we would be together forever and the child would not grow up in a broken home, etc. etc. I was in love so I agreed! I make salary in my m-f job, and she made 12.00 an hour. 5 months prior to the baby being born she packed up her things and her boys and left me! Moved down the street to a higher end apartment than when I met her (she was living with me prior)... Suddenly I am at the child support office and she is awarded 1012 per month from my paychecks, paid in arrears to the birth of the baby.. The baby that I paid another attorney 4K to fight for 50% custody. On top of this, when the baby was born - I didn't get notification until 7 days afterwards! I didn't get to see her for 14 days afterwards.. for a whopping hour! I barely get to see her now! How can a system allow this to happen? Because she is a woman and I am a man? She played me for my money, she did this to another guy prior too! This is garbage - the system is garbage! There was no investigation to see if I was coaxed into this.. I have text messages (still have them) proving my case! I believe if a MAN and a WOMAN have a child together, and both are suitable givers.. they should each get 50% custody, and not have give money to the other.. why? BECAUSE THEY BOTH HAVE 50%!!! 50% does not mean.. the one making less should make more! It means.. they should each be responsible for their time with the child! THIS SYSTEM IS ABSOLUTE GARBAGE! I can't believe this is the system... that I support - if there is ever a rise against the government..consider me your enemy.REPORT COMMENTS

I have always paid my child support until tragedy struck my home. My current wife was grievously injured in an accident and is now permanently disabled unable to stay at home by herself for the time being. She has a great chance at getting back to somewhat normal and possibly even returning to the work force but not if I cannot afford to help her rehabilitate. I don't get paid for taking care of her, I cannot get food assistance or cash assistance because I have no children living full time in my home. I am now 10k behind in child support because I have been off work a year and a half and have not yet been able to get my support owed amount lowered. If and when I return to work 50% of any earned income from my gross will be taken from my net leaving me with maybe 15 to 20% of my income to live on after taxes. I cannot live on this, I cannot live on what i have now. I ask how is this fair? My ex wife has a husband that makes 1500 dollars a week, they have a new car, 2 new atv's, a pull behind 5th wheel camper and pick up, she goes to the bar every weekend, smokes and is remodeling her home that I paid for. And they will then take the last little bit I have away from me and my disabled wife. I ask honestly how is that fair and why has nobody done anything about it? I hear all the time "you have to remember it's for the kids" obviously written or said by someone that has never been in this situation. PLEASE change the child support laws so everyone can live and survive, not just the primary care giver's.REPORT COMMENTS

There should be alot of changes to the current system. My husbands ex has worked at Mc D's for 7 years (since the divorce). She still makes $8.50 a hour. They have 3 children. He pays $2k a month child support. She should NOT be living off the child support. The support for 3 kids that are now 10,13,15 is not $2k a month. She should be required to get a job that can at least "help" support the kids. If she can't then he should have custody until she can get a education and provide a decent living to support them. Its ridiculous!REPORT COMMENTS

I have my daughter 35-40% of the time, so I pay twice for some of the ?support? I send her mother. I recently found out that I have to pay child care for the entire month I have my daughter this summer because her mother doesn?t feel she should have to pay ?my bills.? Im paying her $1400/mo for child support, child care is a part of what I already pay her mother to consistently cover. If she gave me the $1400 back for the month that I have her, I would say it is fair for me to cover it. Also, making a person pay 20% of their taxed income, without being able to claim dependents is an unfair practice. I have a wife and 6 children, but I have to pay 20% of my income to one of those children?s mother, who won?t even keep her daycare consistently covered. This entire system is creating a country of entitled mothers and fathers who sponge off of others. I pay half of her bills and I have my daughter almost half of the year, and every three years she can come back to see if I have overtime or a raise that she feels she?s entitled to. I have a lot of people to care for and this woman is only after her paycheck. Each Case is somewhat unique, so I do not see how this one-for-all law for child support is fair. It needs to be reviewed in depth and level the playing field for the fathers and non-custodial parents that are not dead beats. The people who are being raked over the coals financially and psychologically by these unjust laws need a voice. Fix these laws!!!REPORT COMMENTS

I only pull 36 hours per week. Child support is taken out of my check every week. I was out of work for 2 wks due to an accident. Arrears accured and Income tax time they took those arrears. I am paying child support for my two sons. Well all the arrears went to one mother and the other mother didn't receive anything. And the mother who received the arrears does't work and my son is 8 years old. All she do is complain. She loves money and always calling telling me what my son needs. What is she doing with the child support money. And I still haven't received my refund yet even after they have taken all I owe. I am very frustrated with how the child support system is handling working men and moms get to stay home and complain wanting more money. I am a good dad and love my children. Child Support Office has handled my child support wrong. What am I to do???????REPORT COMMENTS

Let me start off by saying I have no problem paying child support. My problem is the exorbitant amount us Dads have to pay in some cases. Basing child support on GROSS INCOME as opposed to NET INCOME is completely asinine. I pay nearly 30k in taxes a year and that's not taken into consideration. Currently I pay 2400/month in support not including covering Medical/Dental and having to pay my portion of any Medical/Dental which is about 70% in my case. None of my bills or other expenses are taken into account. Dads are just forced to fork out tons of money and grin and bare it and struggle while some of these moms live large and go on trips and buy new vehicles. Something has to change.REPORT COMMENTS

I think child support should be accountable to the other parent and the court with receipts. sorry I work for it and she should have to prove where the money is going to support the child 100%. my ex wife when she was getting child support for her 2 kids and since we were both working that money went 100% to the kids and then when he had his kids he paid no child support which is fair. but I'm sorry married or not if you live with someone, than all income needs to be taken into account. If think if the father can't see his kids because the mother won't let him or has had his rights taken away or lie to the courts, sorry sister your done you get nothing, maybe this will help people come to terms with this is about the kids not about the money. same for fathers you want less child support spend time with your kids if the father chooses not to spend time than guess what you pay. and if either parent is found to be abusive in anyway verbal or physical you loose but if one parents lies to make this happen than they should have to pay the money back and serve time. and one more thing if 2 parents can work it out without the courts they both should get a tax credit for being an adult and acting like adults but if they have to go through the courts because they can't get along for the sake of the child sorry you lose again.REPORT COMMENTS

While my husband and I have the children the same amount of time the EX and her husband does, (50-50) My husband pays child support, all medical insurance; Health, vision, dental, and all medical bills.... plus half of all the extra-curricular activities. She has no incentive to do better for herself. She is making under what the standard income for a school teacher's salary. I would say anywhere from $15,000-$25,000 less......I have no degree, unless she has gotten a substantial raise, I am making more than she is. I think counting child support towards housing, electricity, water and a phone is pointless-You would provide that for yourself anyway..... I don't know what the over haul should be for certain but there are some unfair situations.... I think that the household parental income (mom, step-dad or dad and step mom) should count...the entire household benefits from the extra monies. This creates an unfair household vs. household in our case. You marry for better or worse...or at least I know I did.REPORT COMMENTS

No one can tell me what to do with the child support money I get. I use it for whatever I want, if the kids want pizza we get pizza. If I need things for myself, I buy them. It's MY money to do what I want with it. I have two different fathers paying child support and between both of them I only get $1200 per month. They should be paying more since I am the one who has to watch the kids full time while they're out partying and doing whatever. If you men (cowards) could keep it in your pants you wouldn't have to worry about paying child support. The fact is, you got us women pregnant and then don't want to MAN UP and take care of your kids. We didn't ask to be pregnant, YOU decided not to wear a condom. If anything, the courts need to make men pay at least half their income because that's what their children DESERVE.REPORT COMMENTS

This type of thing doesn't just happen to men. It has happened to me and I am still living it. He has completely alienated my children from me. He bad mouths me every chance he gets and he calls, texts or messages me every single week demanding to know where his money is because his bills are past due, he's late on his truck payment or that his two story building had to come to a stand still. I pay monthly but the amount has been sufficient enough that we are on the verge of being homeless and barely scraping by. It's almost to the point we don't know where our next meal is going to come from, if at all. I have a disability hearing coming up at the end of this month and even then, I'll not be able to live. My b/f of 4 years has been helping me with my CS so that I don't go to jail. Maybe because it has hit me personally, I'll never understood how or why the government felt the need to get involved with other people's children. It took two to produce those children/child and I'm pretty sure the government wasn't involved. If anything, write down a list of what each parent is responsible for, eg. (school clothes, school supplies, medical expenses). Let both parents equally share the expenses instead of dishing out CASH! CS is for the child(ren) not the mom/dads way of life!REPORT COMMENTS
