Something must change... It's criminal what some of these courts do and allow women to do. The system is evil.

I am a resident of NC but I am being petitioned by New York State to pay child support for 2 children that are still in college but both are working, and over 21 years old (26 and 23). My daughter no longer lives at home with her mother and my son has moved out but just recently moved back with his mother. But did I mention my ex-wife (who I have been divorced from since 1994) lives with her parents and is employed full-time. She works as a part time teacher at a State College so she's not financially struggling by any means. However, because of New York State's law I am paying 65% of my check biweekly.

Its time to end the child support scam. We need a coalition of millions. I'm seeking damages of 75 million in Franklin County Ohio. We have to take it by force the whole system is corrupt the judges get kick backs the attorneys wont betray there masters. They don't care about my kids or yours its a money racket and you and I are there slaves. They think all there bases are covered and there unbeatable. Or you have well its for your kids propaganda. I've lived this for the last 8 years and I'm not doing it no more. They will pay and they will pay big. I'd rather do it with a million plus but right now its David vs goliath . I think we can beat them rapidly if we all meet up and show up at there front door. I will build a website in coming months . Endchildsupport.com

I believe a child that has a live in boyfriend and has a job and go to college part time should not receive Child support. If a parent is made to pay child support past the age of 18 thru 23 due to college, it should be automatically modified every year to see if SAID CHILD is still attending. Of course the law always kick the father while he is down.

The law must be changed so that only a reasonable amount of support be paid and not an amount that places an undue hardship on the payee. There is no reason that the defendant should be forced to homelessness or sub standards of living. That is not justice. In cases where support payments are received in amounts that average out to more than a middle class family's salary is completely unjustified and unacceptable.

Other states have more 'up-to-the-times' child support calculations that factor in each parent (male or female) as an equal party and considers the amount of time with the children to correlate with the amount of child support needed. NYS laws are sexually bias in the gray areas (such as with 50/50 custody) and antiquated.

The laws of this country in dealing with child support is downright embarrassing! The attitude they have towards the non custodial parent is a crime within in itself.. Taking their drivers license away, incarceration, and felony penalties, makes the entire problem worse! The position the lawmakers have is one of well, this is all we have for now and also that they dont want to take the time and have no care in the world to this growing problem makes it impossible to get positive and fair results. But I am not only a parent who went through this bogus system but also worked in this joke of a program with job and family services. I have created a program that will not only fix and create a solution to these inequities but will do what child support is supposed to be meant to do. It will get the custodial parents their money they are due to receive, but also fairly treat the non custodial parent and keep them for legal problems and a worsening of their situation. It will save the states a lot of time and wasted money in prosecuting people unnecessarily for non support but will create other opportunities and fairness in this current system. I have run a pilot program to test this idea and has worked very well and I will be taking it to nationally to lawmakers.

Both children's mothers have custody, yet neither one works and both collect government assistance that include foodstamps housing medicaid etc.. I work full time and my comfortable living has been reduced to that of a minimum wage life style due to the economy..I would rather have full custody and not request child support from the mother than to struggle and my counterparts have it easy while exposing my children to a government assisted life..BUT THE NON CUSTODIAL FATHER'S DON'T HAVE A VOICE!!SOMEONE NEEDS TO START ORGANIZING...IF PEOPLE CAN ORGANIZE FOR POLICE TO STOP KILLING IDIOTS WHO DON'T LISTEN. WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO FIX THIS BIAS BROKEN PART OF THE GOVERNMENT THAT FAVORS THE MOTHER AND PROFITS OFF OF SEPARATION..

I fortunately do not find myself in this situation. At the same time, my heart goes out to those that do. I have two beautiful baby girls and I love them more than the breathe that gives me life. I would be absolutely crushed if I were: 1st Put in a position where I couldn't influence the upbringing of my babies and be able to be there for them and 2nd Be so terribly neutered financially by the child support system that surviving on whatever scraps were left over wouldn't even be realistic in this economy let alone do-able. There are far too many loving, caring fathers (and mothers in some instances) that are excellent providers for their children that find themselves in this very situation. These poor people are so torn down by child support that even when they are granted time with their children they literally can't afford a decent place to call "home" where they can bring their children during court decided visitation time. This system like so many other government managed systems is far overstepping it's bounds and doing these children a terrible injustice in the long run by totally raping the non-custodial parent in these unfortunate situations. I am a very firm believer in being a man about every aspect of life including providing for one's children- whether things work out with momma or not. I realize there are people out there that don't feel my same level of conviction in this matter and for that reason I believe this issue does need regulatory oversight. But this system is completely out of hand and needs serious revision. How can the government claim it's in the best interest of the CHILDREN when the government is profiting from the support payments!? And why does the government try so desperately to intervene and force child support oversight in cases where the mother and father CAN and DO amicably and responsibly handle this matter? Another prime example of the corrupt institution in this country!

I am a mother that pays child support, and in one year I couldn't make my payments because I was homeless. Between those missed payments and 10% interest that's required by California it will take years to get out of debt! The interest alone is as much as what I owe my ex!! I have made regular payments for 9 years, but cant afford more then the required payment to pay off this debt, and the interest just keeps rising. Its frustrating! Meanwhile my ex and his wife make more than my husband and I. I believe in paying child support, but the system needs to change!

Until Judges are forced by law to treat Fathers fairly nothing will change. Will it happen? I'm 56 having already paid unreasonable support for 9 years. Paying till I'm 63...that will be 17 years. No it will not happen...

The child support laws in Illinois are counter-productive. I work in the security field, but I can't obtain my perc card because of delinquent payments. I also CAN NOT work for the city of Chicago because of this. They are threatening to take all of my money. My daughter's mom hasnt worked a full time job in almost a decade. How is this ok?

Everyone should have the responsibility to try to be employed . Just as if you are on unemployment or welfare you should be applying to jobs and trying to raise your child on your own if not the parent with the income to raise the child should become the custodial parent. The child support system needs a huge reform and many Americans are angry and about this and want to see a change.

I think it's crazy that a woman can keep a child a secret for years then pop up wanting child support out of the clear blue with a male having no rights what so every. It's actually sickening because the courts label you as a deadbeat when you may have no recognition of this child. Something has to change because no woman should be entitled to a free ride this way

Why should fathers in general have to be forced in the child support system. A system that is clearly broken in every way shape. Why should fathers be faced with losing their job, their driver license and their house last time i checked that was a clear violation of a father's right to take care of his kids. We are not slaves to the child support system and to be treated so in such a mater is in fact breaking federal law.

The number one cause of male susicide how many more have to die?,in this age of gender equality why do men have sacrfice everything while women has to sacrfice so little why dose either parent have pay child support if they have joint custody?, this causes an abyss of problems while one parent takes the credit for providing a loving home the other has to rent a room how is this fair if both parents are employed I dont care what political interests say this not right and every one knows it thank you for reading
