I have been told that I was the father of two different children. when I did not make it to court. I was in default. But after being in default the mothers went after the real fathers.So it was proven that I was not the father. Now the court is garnishing my check for the time before the truth came out. I wasn't married to the young ladies and never live together. Now are you ready for this. One child is 27yrs old and the other is 21/22 yrs old. they were on public assistance and I was held liable for all the moneys received by the women. And its on my credit report and I've tried to get an attorney but I run out of money to pay the fees, because they're garnishing my check and I don't have very much to work with. If someone has a case similar to this or know someone that can help please contact me.REPORT COMMENTS

I am a woman suffering because of my relationship with a man whose exwife is screwing him over. She's claiming some ridiculous case on kids that are grown, she's remarried, and garnishes his wages for over 50%. He can not live on what is left of his paycheck, so I am supporting him. The way the system works, she needs no proof of anything to get as much money as possible. He was working and homeless when I met him.REPORT COMMENTS

We pay seventeen hundred dollars a month in child support for three children that comes out of my husband's checks. A payment has never been missed. We have been paying this for over a decade now. I'm so happy that we only have six more years left. We love our children. We spend quality time with them and have endless love for them. We have two more children as well that we had together so they live in our home. My husband and I both work full time. She does not work. She has "well to do parents." They live in a home worth over three hundred and fifty thousand dollars (we will never be able to afford that). She and our three children are living in her parents expensive home. She does not have any bills to pay. Her parents buy the food and their clothes for when they are over there and have even bought them cell phones and pay the monthly bill on it. The children have been on my medical insurance and dental and vision for years. When we had our youngest, we switched to his medical insurance but I still provide dental and vision for everyone. We pay for everything over here as well, take them on vacations, and care for their needs very well above and beyond the child support. For years, (before she moved back in with her parents) she lived in her boyfriend's house with the children so I'm sure he was providing money to them as well and he definitely gave them shelter. To top it all of, they have been on (free) lunch for years. I do not understand how that isn't fraud. It is unfair that she does not have to provide anything for them and contribute but can just sit there and receive these checks.REPORT COMMENTS

The laws are so unfair! After paying child support I have only $70 left a week to live on. While my ex, who made a career out of producing children (5 with different fathers) just bought a 40K car and a house, all while collecting state benefits and health insurance. Because she is a waitress, she doesn't declare her tips, so she is "making only 9K" a year. What a joke!!! I live on the brisk of poverty and can't even afford to drive to see my children every weekend because of the price of gas. What kind of life is that...Ther is no justice for fathers. However, if roles were reversed, oh, boy, that would have been a totally different story...Mothers get away with everything...REPORT COMMENTS

My wife lied about my income. All they need to do is show income "potential " in pennsylvania. I was unemployed, doing a few contract jobs, she owns the family business that she manipulated away from me. Because the paperwork might make me look bad in front of a judge (who might not be in the right mood) I was told to agree to 1400 a month (one child and spousal support lite)..which is coming from my savings. My home is paid off. She is living there. The wife uses it to prop up the business (employees , expenses etc.) There is absolutely no reason we should have any law that requires payments form one person to another that are not monitored as to what they are actually used for..and have some punishment for misuse of those funds.. but government does not really care ... its not their money! I visited with the local senator... acted like he listened to me. Then his reply was"well pennsylvania has better divorce laws than most of the states." One could only hope all these elected persons someday would have to live under the same rules we do,.. and go through the "system" some day.REPORT COMMENTS

Men who try to do the right thing get screwed all the time, and the mother gets to live large and basically have two life paychecks and still keep the children away from the fathers. Court orders do not help much with enforcing.REPORT COMMENTS
