Maintaining that close connection with loved ones to help maintain that loving relationship is important to help the inmate to have that loving support system to come home to hopefully help them be able to stay on the straight and narrow after their rehabilitation. That is assuming that the current prison system is still geared for rehabilitation and not to be a revolving door to generate income for the those who profit from prison.REPORT COMMENTS

definitely a great incentive for inmates to work towards. A prison family has obstacles as it is trying to hold their foundation together with a few hours a week for face to face communication.
