it would definitely make inmates behave more in general and keep a close connection with their families, it would also make adjusting back into society alot easier and probably cause the likely hood of reincarnation a lot LOWER. It would also allow families to be familiesREPORT COMMENTS

My husband is in for 10 years and I believe without family visit not only will it be difficult for me and him to reconnect when he gets out but also for the kids as well. They need that bonding time with there father. Also it would definitely make inmates behave more in general. The inmates should also not only stay out of trouble to get conjucial visits but also should have to take advantage of everything the prison that they have to offer as far as school programs, etc.REPORT COMMENTS

I agree with conjugal visits I never imagined ever having to visit my husband in prison but I do...and what I would do to just be able to sleep in my husband's arms if even for an hour or a minute. Please consider this I believe it would relieve a lot of stress and tension throughout the imates which in turn would provide a safer environment not only for the inmates but for the guards as wellREPORT COMMENTS

Yes, I think family and spousal visits should be allowed for federal inmates. I never thought I would be visiting a federal prison but here I am. It would mean so much just to be able to lay in my husband's arms for half hour. I can't imagine what it would mean for him.REPORT COMMENTS

I support this I feel that it would still let inmates that r parents to be involved in there child life plus it would keep family closer and have that strong bond and that would ne less rate in divorce and the images would be less violent to and would stay on track to get these visitREPORT COMMENTS

My fiance was arrested before we could get married. He still has not been able to see is first born daughter that was born while he was locked up. He will in prison for the next four years. It would mean the world to our family if we could spend that time together to better us individually and as a family. Please consider all the good this can bring!REPORT COMMENTS

I totally agree and support this petition. My husband is in jail and I truly need him. I will sign. Please continue to help all couples going through this obstacle. I was hurt when I found out Mississippi took away conjugal visits. We've been trying really hard to find a way to make it.REPORT COMMENTS

Allowing such not only fosters family/marital ties, but likely would eliminated several crimes that occur within federal prisons.REPORT COMMENTS

I feel inmates should be allowed family visits. I honestly don't see the harm in allowing it. If 6 states are already allowing it and no harm has come from it why isn't this just made legal. Inmates should be allowed to have privacy with their love ones every 3 months only based on their behavior. Rapist and child molesters are the only individuals that should not be allowed to participate in this program. This program will keep inmates on their best behavior. Make the correctional officers jobs a lot easier as well. Any inmate serving a sentence over 10 years should qualify (minus rapist & child molesters). I really think it's not something that should only allowed in federal prison, but state prison too. State prisoners get a lot less privileges than federal prison as is. This should be allowed worldwide. Every state & prison federal prison should be allowed these "Family Visits"..REPORT COMMENTS

I feel this will be better for them as well as the family's it's hard on us as wife's to be out in the world while our husbands are locked up. IT'S already hard raising a family alone but not being able to have contact with our husbands make dealing with our children even harder. You must understand it's hard being loyal to a man that you can't even be interment WITH.REPORT COMMENTS
