I believe that these visits would decrease violence in prison and the inmates would certainly cooperate much better

I feel Federal institutions should allow conjugal visit we understand they are incarcerated and paying for their crime but at the same time they're still I loved ones we drive 200 300 some even more to see them Mike Daniels I don't want to see my wife turn gay but if she was able to touch me and to hold me and to make love to me we will have to worry about issues like that we wouldn't have to worry about HIV/AIDS we won't have to worry about them fighting in prison because they would do anything to get that so if you want to stop the violence in prison in federal prison getting this face to be with a loved one

I think that husbands and wives should have the right to conjugal visits because family ends, more divorces, because of the denial for him/ her to have private time with each other to talk about family, friends, and just to comfort each other,so I say that conjugal visits should be brought back for the inmates,,,,

I absolutely agree to conjugal visits. This is a way for the government to make more money too. As I travel 4 hours each way to visit, I would much rather pay for an overnight stay with my spouse than pay Hampton Inn. Additionally, please consider increasing phone time per month since inmates like to call their spouse, children, grandchildren, and parents and more. 300 minutes is not enough and we pay for the minutes so please consider This as well.

In favor of giving these men an outlet for their stress and anxiety. I truly believe it would minimize the violence and aggression in the facilities.

No harm can come of this. They have no basic human rights or identity . Family is all they have left. Why take it from them??

I agree that this will help In more ways than one. It gives the inmate someting to strive for. A reason to work hard and prove him/her self. While giving the wife/husband and children a very important part of there life back. They didn't do anything wrong. Still they are left with a hopelessness that doesn't go away with a 15 min phone call or a sit down in a cafeteria setting. Install cameras in the living areas audio in the bath and bedrooms. Ok so it's not ideal but it beats the alternative. And charge a fee just like if I were going to stay at a hotel for the weekend. And charge for the meal plan. No need for full size kitchens. A small fridge and a micro will work. A ramp and electric outlets for visitors with special needs. Pre drug testing for visitors. Post testing for inmates.

My husband is currently in federal prison and this will give us the much needed family time to be with our loved ones. Plus it helps the inmates stay on their best behavior and it reduces crime and stress for the staff. So everyone will win in the end less crime, safer jails for inmates and staff.

It makes no sense that we have murderers, rapists, child abusers in state prisons with much more privileges than some of these inmates in federal prisons for non violent crimes! I still don't understand why conjugal visits are not allowed in federal prisons. It's been heartbreaking being away from my husband & I stand behind this petitions. It hurts everyone!

This would be a great opportunity for them to experience what they threw away as they chose the wrong path that led them behind bars. To see that they are still luved and needed and still have a chance to make things right with their family. It will make them stronger to feel needed and wanted, accepted and forgiven. It will inspire them towards a second chance and to value family. It will keep them sane and help them thru the time behind bars that there's still hope for those who really want it.

This is a good idea, which should have never been taken away. These prisoners need to feel loved as those dealing with their loved one behind bars. It gives the inmates something to look forward to. It also will make them do and be better while in prison. Knowing that if they make one little mistake, they won't have that "Family Time" wether sexual or actually bonding time with their new born child is something to think about. All prisons wether Federal or State should have these visits. It promotes a healthy relationship between couples as well as children wither their Father or Mother. I wouldn't mind paying to have alone time with my better half. It would relieve a lot of stress. Carrying my better halfs child, and Family Visits gives the inmates a piece of mind, being able to bond while the child is in the womb. I love this Idea and hopefully others will too!
