Family court is failing!!! It is a nightmare!! My daughter is being alienated from me and her brother and it is soo easy for her to do and soo hard for me to stop it. It should be hard to do and easy to stop. -

If you have never lived in this hell it is easy to say Parental Alienation does not exist. IT DOES and it is a sadisticly ignored form of child abuse that needs to be stopped and stopped NOW! My two grandchildren have lived in this abuse for over 10 years. Their mother has all but destroyed my granddaughter's relationnship with their Dad and is working on doing the same with her son. She is even proud of herself for doing this because in her world it is all about winning and loosing. I hope someday my granddaughter will realize that her mother is a sociopath/psychopath and the one who has been lying to her for all these years. My heart aches for all the children worldwide who suffer from this abuse because professionals refuse to do anything. I think the "professionals" (judges, lawyers, psychologists, g.a.l's, etc.) for the most part should be ashamed for turning their backs on innocent children and for the role they play in the continuation of this "Ultimate Hate Crime".REPORT COMMENTS

My ex wife does not allow her children by a previous marriage to talk of their father or any good times with him. They are not allowed to call him Daddy. He is only allowed to be reffered to by them as their "Father". They are abused. I have audio tape. I have reported this to CPS and they don't want to hear the tape. She has my 6 year old daugher and limits calls to twice per week. We pray in these calls. She tells her NOT to pray with me as that his her job and my daughter is not allowed to ask to call me. There are so many things that are emotionally abusive in this situation that I've hired an attorney to help but that's only as good as the attorney wants to argue. There has to be a better plan for Fathers with their children. I don't expect a response, but it would be nice to know someone cares. Thank You, Daniel PenningtonREPORT COMMENTS

My two older children out of six are completely alienated from me. My ex-husband used the three older children to support his cause to try and show that I am an unfit mother and that my current husband is abusive. They all convinced the three younger ones that we were bad. The third oldest has always struggled with emotional issues because of what her dad has said to her over the years regarding me. She grew up lost and confused. Now, 20, she is starting to figure it out and working towards making herself a more healthy person. The younger three came very close to being alienated from me. I lived this nightmare, as did my son, who just recently gained his freedom from an alienating parent who tried to keep him isolated into adulthood, from the age of 7. This is criminal behavior in any other setting. Why should a parent be allowed to abuse and neglect another human? My son eventually found that the only way out was to become hospitalized. Accidents, depression, addiction to pain meds and anti-depressants followed. Parent Alienation is abuse and neglect of a child, not allowing their support system to have contact with them, isolation of a child, and is very harmful to their development. Children should be protected from being used as a weapon. The alienating parent denies the child the right to have a bond with the targeted parent. KrisREPORT COMMENTS

Congress: Part of the reason Parental Alienation is so epidemic is the Welfare Reform Act (PRWORA) which sets up a skewed relationship between parents over custody and access to the child by giving monetary incentives to State Attorney Generals for the imposition of monetary child support. However there is no incentive given to states to assure that child has access to the parent! Result: Government commodification of the child and extortion of one parent!REPORT COMMENTS

I'm father of 2 daughters, taken out of my life for 15 yrs (and counting) for no reason other than a mother's "stated intent to destroy me" and she knew the worst way would be to take my children. My 3 children age 20-23 have been subjected to this form of child abuse for over six years. It is real and has happened three times in my former family. My former sister in-law has three children who have not seen their father in over ten years. My former brother in-law has a child who does not know she is adopted, and once had a loving mom, who has been forced out of her life for 14 years. I have been a loving, caring mom, who is a respected nurse, and educator, with a doctoral degree. I will never give up on my kids, but sadly the wonderful loving relationship we onced shared has been taken away by the brainwashing they have been subjected to by their father and his family.
