Dear Sir or Madaam, I want to tell you a little about my experience with Family Law. I had a daughter when I was 17 yrs old. I got to see her a few times til she was 9 months old but then the mother decided I couldnt see her anymore. I went to court several times trying to get visitation with her but never could. I was ordered to pay child support tho. This happened in Wisconsin. Years later I started another family. I had 3 boys, Joshua, Colton, Logan. We lived in AL. I had full physical placement of my boys in MS. Their biological mother had abandon them for 8 yrs. I raised my boys without their biological mother in the picture, she was a stranger to them. However, when my boys were around 12, 10, and 8 yrs old I was extradited to WI over my child support in which I thought was over with. I left my boys in the care of a lady friend however their biological mother came to AL got the boys and took them to TN. It took me 5 wks to get back home. I tried to get my boys back but TN said ALs education wasnt as good as TN so they was leaving the boys in the care of a stranger. I fought for yrs to regain custody of my boys but never could. I havent seen my boys except maybe 2 times since they was stolen from me. My oldest. 21, has a family of his own now living somewhere in gulf of MS. My middle boy,19, is in the NE State Pen serving 50+yrs for murder been there since he was 16, my youngest, 17, is a ward of the state of MS and is in a rehab in Bartlett, TN. When they took him they put him in a mental hospital and gave him drugs bc said he was unruly yet he just wanted to come home to his dad which he told the judge that but to no avail. They are still giving him drugs to this day bc he is in and out of trouble. I never had a problem with my boys when I had them. I guess i had the time to instill some kind of honor in my oldest bc he is doing good but the youngest two was still to young. The biological mother and the state of TN took them to gain financially. It is all a money thing. She was awarded 10,000 dollars child support upfront. I am still paying child support on all 3 of my boys although one is 21 with a family of his own, Colton, 19, been incarcerated since he was 16, and Logan 17 in which the state of MS has him. I have tried to get a hearing for my Child Support for over a year now but still havent got one. The Family Law needs to be looked at nationwide. They profit from taking our children. There is an attorney from TN who is writing a book about Shelby County Family Court in TN being so corrupt which is where my case was handled. This attorney left family law for this reason, said it was to much of an emotional deal to sit back and see the courts tear families apart just bc they could when they had no good reason other than to profit from it. ok what we got here is family court corruption and p.a.s WHAT DO YOU THINK??? BEST INTEREST OF THE CHILD i dont think so!!!REPORT COMMENTS

Family is not about choice all the time. Family is about responsibility. That responsibility is a shared parenting role. Each parent has a part that should be a protected role. Shared parenting, shared power, shared responsibility. Those parents not fortunate enough to have that role protected after going through things like divorce experience the full impact when the law fails to protect the rights of the parent. The result is an alienation that occurs where one parent is disadvantaged over the other in being a parent to the children. This is often reinforced the parental programming of the children. Basically the parent having the most custodial authority over the children uses that authority to triangulate their anger directed to the ex-spouse the child. This triangulation serves to strengthen the formation of a coalition where the children align themselves with the part of the system that wedges the most conflict into the whole system. The result, an alienated parent whose rights of access and maintenance of a parental relationship are damaged, in many case beyond the ability to repair because they are both alienated due to lack of power over their children and lack of access because of having enough control over their children.REPORT COMMENTS

FAMILY LAW and our justice system is sadly very flawed when it comes to determining who's the liar and who isn't. Seems that when a parent shows signs of targeting another parent or grandparents it's clearly a case of Parental Alienation. In our case the mother has started this process with a new born child and now that she's almost three years old and we're still being jerked around by the mother of this child to keep visitations from happening while the judge sits with his chin in his hand and never bats an eyelash even when her lies are exposed! When you allow a fugitive to live with you and he admits he's living there and the mother says that he had just moved in because they are moving out I would say some one is lying. The attorney's believe the lies and it amazes me as I sit bound and gagged... unable to defend myself of her lies! Then we as a society sit and wonder why we hear such horrible domestic disputes played out on the evening news. I believe our courts enable the monsters and make the good, God fearing and upright ones suffer a lose that is beyond comprehension. Families are being destroyed enough by separation and divorce... we look to our law and justice to "help" us and make things right and they postpone and make us wait for months between hearings. Things don't happen fast enough to enjoy the growth of a toddler and the emotional damage done as well as the financial beside creating more and more animosity between the parties! This has gone on for three years with us and the feelings will NEVER go away. The wedge has been driven far to deep to make amends.REPORT COMMENTS

This type of emotional child abuse is hard to detect. The fighting betwee divorcing parents is one of the root causes, but so many profit off of the broken relationships. The child is always left behind. Look how many corrupt corporations/people there are in this world. Anywhere from health care to religious leaders. Someone out there has to understand that breaking an attachment and pressuring a child to align with one parent and reject the other brings with it a life full of emotional anguish.
