I am a lesbian woman.having had a 2 week affair in 2008 found my self in court 3 years later with this person. A five year stay away issued in family court for 653m simply for telling her husband about her actions while she was drunk. I left the state she followed me. I got sober in AA gay AA she followed me. When I told her to stop she filed police reports. She is still married she has 7 counts of perjury I can prove she slandered my name I was attacked. She abused the courts knowingly and willingly to hide her adultery and my life is ruined so yes let's bring justice which is balance of facts and hold both parties responsible under the law family court is unconstitutional. I have one year left of this but my life and name are tarnished as a stalker. Westberg vs. Svastics calif -

I'm a female but the same thing happened to me when I told my husband I wanted a divorce and custody of our son. I never expected it and was blindsided by it. My ex fiancƩ is a former (and now current) prescription pain killer addict, as well as a boy I had known in high school before all that. He cleaned up shortly before we got together, (for the most part though he had a few relapses that I quickly squashed while we were together) and we had a son who is now 2 and a half. With a learning disability, a 'barely graduated' high school education and a maintenance man job, our son is the only good thing he feels he has ever done in his life. He thought he had hit the jackpot with me. I have 3 degrees and have maintained a professional licensure for the last 9 years. I've supported him financially during the duration of our 4 year relationship. I finally reached the end of my tolerance on Father's Day and asked him to leave. He refused because it was Father's Day and he 'could do whatever he wanted'. He had been destructive in the past breaking windows and punching doors and throwing me around to frighten me, and I finally couldn't stand it anymore. We argued and I broke a picture frame with our picture in it to reinforce the point that I was done. He ran outside and started screaming for the neighbors to call the cops (ironically he had lost his cell phone that day) because I had a knife. He's terrified I would take his son, given his long history of drug abuse, and in an effort to keep me from doing so had domestic violence and felony assault with a deadly weapons charges pressed against me, despite a lack of evidence or any bodily harm. He has since realized the mistake he made and wants to reconcile, which I have been advised by my attorney is the best thing (I won't even go into the fact that I'm essentially being raped now because if I don't sleep with him he holds the court case over my head). I now stand to lose my son to a junkie who has fully relapsed due to the stress of potentially losing one good thing he ever did in his life (our son) and the one person who paid his bills and took care of them. I stand to lose my professional licensure, my career, my son and my entire life and it's all because of the way domestic violence is handled. He's a lying vindictive person who is the 'victim', so it will never matter how much I was emotionally and physically abused up until this point. His exact words to me after the fact were, "I called the cops because I was afraid of what I would do to YOU if things continued." Thank God I've documented his destructive behavior and drug behaviors while relapsing over the years. It may help me with my case, but sadly...because of this, even with all the evidence against him, if I am convicted the state may take our child from both of us. It isn't right. I've been a responsible person who gives back to the community (I have healed people at my job for nearly a decade), I have been a loving mother to one small child and one adult child for years, and because one irresponsible lying junkie manipulated the system for his own purposes my life will be severely limited,REPORT COMMENTS

I am a disabled lady who lives in rural Arkansas. After a divorce, my girls signed me up to match.com. I met Leslie through this site. When I entered my info I requested a college graduate like myself. I met Leslie and he seemed highly intelligent. I must admit it was flattering to have a man interested in me. He came from good Christian parents. As the relationship progressed , I began to catch him in lies. He was very verbally abusive and started putting on a victim personality around friends and family. I figured he has some issues. ( if I had only invested in a background check). I was dealing with a very unstable man. Long story. His dad died and he was homeless . I offered him work on my front gate to let him earn the money. He was contracted to fix the gate then leave . He picked a fight over laundry detergent. He drank a 30 pack of Busch lite purchased at the liquor store. He shot bullets out of a .22 pistol while drunk. ( Cell phone charger in the building he was staying in) he tried to bust down my front door that night and stole my Envoy. Next morning I am grooming a poodle and he pulls up in my SUV. He parks the SUV on the road. He was going to leave in it. Said when he got done he would put it in the Arkansas river. He blackmailed me , assaulted me, put a knife to my throat. Etc. He locked the doors to the Envoy. I went to the house to get my keys. He is in my bedroom and when I stepped into the bedroom he reaches into his duffle bag.. I had a concealed weapon permit. I pulled the gun and pointed it at his bottom. My finger never was near the trigger. He dialed 911 while standing on my porch. He was telling the 911 operator that I was trying to shoot him. I was no where near him. He ran to take my SUV. I cleared the chamber of the gun and followed him down the driveway to my vehicle. He kept telling the operator I was going to shoot him. Not true. I sat on the bumper of my vehicle till the police came. I was not hiding.i put my gun down and laid flat while he arrested me. Officer was very professional. I expected them to handcuff Leslie and they would get the truth. The sheriff let him walk away. I was taken to jail and officially charged with aggravated assualt. . 12 hours in jail. Bailed our the next morning. Leslie calls the police and says I am violating a no contact order. He never paid bills taxes or even food. He refused to work and he drained money from me and my girls while I am dissabled. He was a veteran of domestic violence. Knew the system and how to work it. A officer walked into my living room unannounced and arrested me for no contact violation. The police brought him back to my house and took me to jail. He signed a search warrant for my house. DEA agents searched my 5 acres and found nothing but chiggers. I am still awaiting trial in Pulaski county. Judge Sims. My lawyer Paul Herrod has barely been paid. This is happening to my brother right now and it is deplorable that a woman is able to take every cent, take over a home that is not in her name and take away any access to their children just by claiming abuse when there is no evidence. False accusation IS abuse. Abuse of the SYSTEM and the domestic partner. We need to take this power away and allow for the persecuted to truly be innocent until proven guilty.REPORT COMMENTS

I was falsely accused again by my ex-boyfriend and because of his false allegation towards me. I spent 28 days in jail. I don't understand how they arrest me on hearsay without viable proof. Thank God for cameras because that's my proof that I didn't do or go to where my ex said I want. His trial starts soon and my husband and I have been falsely accused numerous times including what my ex's girlfriend had accused us of things as well. Where is the Justice if people are going to jail for being wrongly convicted when they should investigate. Do they do that no. Hopefully the pro bono attorney appointed to me will speak up and do her job. My mother-in-law will be coming to court on my behalf. Where my mother-in-law resides has cameras and the director is trying to get me the footage. Plus I have my GPS history saved on my cell. As far as innocent til proven guilty. Thats a bunch of bs. It's more like guilty til innocent. My ex is a vindictive human being and has retaliated numerous times trying to scare my husband and I to drop charges. Thats not going to happen because a lil over 2 years back n forth to court. We are so overwhelmed by what these two have done to my husband and I.REPORT COMMENTS

I was accused of false protection from abuse orders in PA against my soon to be ex wife. When i went to the second protection from abuse hearing i was told if this women dropped the PFA I would have to give her 4,000 dollare and the Court in Delaware County PA allowed this type of bribe. I want something done about these laws that are in place. In addition to that the day before my soon to be ex texted me and said youll see how it is to be voilated. I cant believe the court system in PA allows this kind of injustice. We need to correct these laws so innocent people dont lose due process. Also she tried to get protection on my children but the judge redused but still gave her temporary custody. Judge Dozer signed the order taking my kids off me for over 9 days with temp custody i will never forget this type of abuse. Finally the order was served on me while i was sleeping and 3 police officers woke me up in bed.REPORT COMMENTS
