I have 2 children daughter 10 and son 13. I divorced my husband their father due to the kids seeing domestic violence. My son has been diagnosed with depression, anxiety, ptsd, and mood disorder thru a psych eval that dcf did when the kids were in their custody. This was proven due to my son witnessing domestic violence, fathers verbal abuse, and the divorce. My son recently told the doctor he got hurt on his go kart but then a few days later told his therapist that dad punched him and caused bruised ribs. My son stated he was scared to open up and afraid his dad would find out that he told. My son became scared to go to school and became truant. There was an open care and protection plan with dcf as this happened before back in February too. My ex husband was supposed to take anger management before seeing the kids when the divorce was final. When dcf git involved they trumped over this. So now again my son has stated physical abuse and my ex has pending 51a's against and dcf ignores this and I just found out dcf is allowing my daughter to live with him. My son has told me on several occasions that he needs to go live with dad to protect his sister. Why is dcf ignoring my son? I was told dcf believes I told my son to lie about his dad to ruin the relationship between them. I now have supervised 1 hour 1x week visits and 10 minute supervised calls. My kids were taken on Nov 10, 2015 and as of today I have not seen or talked to my daughter. I have recently learned my daughter was pulled out of her new school and put into another school system where she was bullied. My son is in a Starr program. This will be the first Thanksgiving that I won't be there with them. My son will spend Thanksgiving by himself. My daughter will spend Thanksgiving and her 11th birthday with family that she doesn't like and a father that she is scared of. My daughter and son have seen their father go thru solid wood doors like they are butter and throw 8,000 btu air conditioners across the room like they are baseballs. My kids have a lawyer that lies and calls my kids liars. I am lost without them. I have always been there for them, even when I was married I was a single mom with a room mate as he was always at his mother's. If someone can help me please do, these kids don't need to suffer any more. My daughter told her brother that I'm mad at her, the ex was right there to correct by saying no your mother is not mad at you she hates you. Please help. -

I ran to safety with my babies in the night. We had finally escaped our abuser. That is until the justice system handed my vulnerable babies over to their violent, and drug addict father. My abuser now has soul and legal custody over my babies, and I have been legally alienated by the judge from my babies. I might never again be allowed to cradle my little ones to sleep at night. In family crime matters CPS and the Judicial system need serious reform, ASAP. Will you please help protect and save abused parents and abused children, from their abusers. I am begging you please protect our Constitutional rights to life and liberty.REPORT COMMENTS

Florida has the same pandemic in its family court systems. Custody is looked at more than criminal acts pertaining to a child. However sexual abuse investigation going on with the parent and a trauma forensic evaluation going and the child can go back to the parent who is doing this to the child. My son was physically abused by mother he suffered 2 fractures and my daughter was hospitalized for suicidal thoughts for fear of her mother. Courts do not care of the children's best interest. Clay County judge has made life a living hell for my daughter and I. Grandparents sued for visitation despite mentally abusing her and since I don't have the funds to fight, the court gives them what they want plus ordered me to pay all the costs. I am dealing with a tough situation with cps. I have a 3 and 4 year old daughter both are great kids. I am a full time mother who has been living with my boyfriend for two and a half years, there has never been any abuse in the home whatsoever. One night I was putting my 3 year old daughter to bed one night and saw a scratch across her neck about an inch and asked her sweetie how did you get that on your neck? Her reply was Daddy did with a yoyo. I was in shock and disbelief bur figured maybe she might be confused about it so I left it alone next morning I put neosporin on her neck and send both my kids to School. Still confused and trying to make sense of what happened I get a call from the School a few hours later saying my kids are at cyfd and I needed to go to the police station. I was questioned and so was my boyfriend by police and a cyfd caseworker. I cooperated and told them everything and there belief was since my daughter said daddy did it automatically he was guilty and me defending him saying it wasn't possible made them believe I was covering for him which was not the case. I have a 4 year old who has done things to my youngest and also other kids that have made me scared and worried about her well being. I have witnessed her lash out and bite my 3 year old and hit her over stealing toys or being in her bed. My believe is she may be a factor and might have done the scratch to my daughter's neck but since I have no say to cps because they believe my boyfriends guilty regardless he was thrown out the home and I got full custody. My youngest was seen by a doctor for her cut and they ruled out it was not abuse but still have to undergo therapy sessions to find an explanation. It's been almost 2 months and I'm still waiting on an answer but what can I do? I respect cps but at the same time I don't think they did a good job at helping instead they tore s family apart and humiliated us and now we're under investigation because of a scratch that may or may not have been caused by my boyfriend.REPORT COMMENTS

I myself am dealing with the crooked system in the state of Utah. My oldest daughter is being abused physically and emotionally by her stepmother and emotionally by her father who was given custody after I was up at primary children's with my 3 month old son who had to be life flighted and have open heart surgery. We also have a son together who was being abused by his father and stepmother and was even proven in 5th district court in 2012 and now my daughter is being abused and I have filed 14 protective orders all of them were denied by judge Westfall until I filed with a different judge dame and it was finally approved because he obviously knew my daughter was not safe in her father's home but when it came to the evidentiary hearing her father was granted the ability to change the judge from dame back to Westfall who denied all other protective orders and he wouldn't even let me show my evidence which entailed police reports and emails and texts from my daughter and because of that my ex and his lawyer made it seem like I was crazy and undermining his parenting and even tried saying my daughter had behavioral disorder basically saying she didn't respect authority or her father or stepmother which is bologna because she is too terrified to say no to either one of them and now I am having to get a psychological evaluation and had to meet with my daughter in a therapist setting (supervised) and the judge Westfall dropped the protective order and when I had to break it to my daughter that she had to return to her father she dropped to her knees and sobbed uncontrollably begging anyone who would listen to not send her back which one person was her father's lawyer and he just left the room like he didn't care and her father stood there smirking thinking he had won. I am at a loss for words at how unbelievably crappy this system is when it comes to listening to the children first and asking questions later. To add to it the CPS worker named Andy Underwood lied on the stand saying he tried several times to get a hold of me when I could have easily pulled up my phone records to prove that he was lying because for 5 months I called him every other day and left voice mails and even left messages with his supervisor and he never once called me back. Not once. And my daughter even told me that he's been to her father's home to chat with her father and he never once talked to her during that time. This state is a joke when it comes to being for the child's best interest. I am more concerned for her mental state at this time and she's only 12 years old. Telling a child that she is a b**** like her mother, beating her a** with a wooden spoon until it breaks and only stopping long enough for her to get another one, threatening to push her off the balcony and make it look like an accident, threatening to shoot her with her father's gun, with holding food to the point that she is in the 3rd percentile for her weight and age, cutting the limbs and head off her stREPORT COMMENTS

I am a 27yr old single mother to 2 beautiful brilliant children who not long ago were once happy, there dad is literally the definition of a sadistic ass, thats being nice he is very emotionally & verbally abusive very manipulative and true evil, I have extreme adhd &since meeting him developed terrible depression but sum how he was the one to break it offmonth due to fighting his terrible lies and very serious lies like me seriously hurting my Infint son even had his mom & gma said I would dip SMS say theses things for along time I thought I was a monster and let then take my son ashamed to say @the time I just did wat they wanted cuz i had always been scared like i still am & no I was not being punched hit kicked but I was scared I felt terrible cuz my son is truly my life my world every reason I breath as well as my daughter b4 she came along this was killing me how could I possibly hurt the one person I would gig my last breath for, hurry people who I was convinced trying to help so I decided to go in thinking my adhd was getting they bad 22 no were top go but him & his family who had me living in a tiny trailor that was as big as a twin bed as length ands width I was sip thankful his gma let me stay there for $200 a month I Judy hated having no heat but other than that I was sure happy to be dwn three road from my boo lol but as Im in therapy my therapist told me shire felt I was being abused not seeing the big picture cuz my only concern was being with my boy who was getting ready to turn one though even I could see them trying ruin our bond it was as if they were trying to get me out of the picture but as I had time away (going to therapy.or work ) cuz I was not able to even go to my dads alone cuz I'd be @wrk checking in on my break to heart how Ronnie caught me messing around or I was not there how I was awful he was trying to surprise me finding out he was actually seeing anther girl while I'd be working k so here it's a a lil history on how it started from the beginnin I feel I need to enlighten everyone on how serious and damaging emotional and verbal abuse is cuz it can take ur whole perception of reality into a spin there's so much to tell but I was convinced for 2 yrs I was crazy hew made me quit therapy saying my issues strew made up disease is that I should listen be happy cuz he is there cuz I'll never find any one who could love me for me and up til this Last weekend Iv let him control my emotions threw my baby's I was actually contemplating suicide scared to hurt my son until the 1st real breadth I had not around his family had this now 5 yrs later just finally accepting that I'm not completly in lovable of them was not there for both pregnancy denied both kids now claim they love them myex has and does go weeks without seeing them as well as never had he provided help only tried to make me look bad the More Iv grown out of his sick games worse he has got though now my suspicions ands feelings fears have come to surface I kREPORT COMMENTS
