It is a slap in the face to those who serve. That we give everything to our country and soldiers to the brink that it damages our families to the point of divorce. An in most cases the army and courts rule in favor of the mother and in most case the spouse leaves the husband while deployed or while they are in the field and take everything and then leave them with the bills. Bah is not a entitlement it's non taxable and changes from station to station it should not be included in child support. Only base pay should.REPORT COMMENTS

In many cases young and naive military members fall prey to someone looking to cash in on their job security and pay. The quickest way this happens is through a child. They should not be rewarded for such despicable actions by taking money meant for the members housing.REPORT COMMENTS

Milpersman and military child support guidelines on special pay mean nothing to state courts. Service members are forced into financial hardships to support separate households which can also lead to bankruptcy. The government needs to protect its Sailor's, Soldier's, Marines, Airmen, and Coast Guardsmen that's protect the United States from this unjust discrimination.REPORT COMMENTS

I'm sure there are many fathers out there like me. I pay $800 a month for 1 child that resides in Texas(low cost of living), and I'm stationed in Washington (high cost of living) and I can't save money, while my wife, 3 children (our children) and I live paycheck to paycheck trying to make ends meat. Meanwhile my son in Texas calls me and says he needs/wants (fill in the blank) because his mother doesn't but him anything. It is beyond ridiculous that she get's an extra paycheck every month and doesn't use in the manner for which it is provided. My children that are with me and my wife are just as important as my son in Texas, but the laws do not seem to care about me my wife or more importantly my 3 other children. It needs to be changed.REPORT COMMENTS
