This "Beast/System" took a wrong turn lately, because it creates an income cycle for a handful of people. Both parties should be considered when calculating support. PLEASE SEE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=196XCAXfqrI Divorce corp did an excellent study that shows how the states are robbing those who actually want to make FAIR payments towards our children's rearing. We need to stop the overreach of those who are responsible, as well as something for the lazy judges who just cut from the top instead of scrutinizing...

Totally agree. We are "put" on CS. It's unfair and the one that makes the money loses.

I am the new wife of a wonderful father who pays his ex child support instead of courts requiring her to get a job to support her own kids. It is unfair that my family scrounges to pay our bills but also pay hers?! Where is the maternal responsibility to support children? Just because the father is a responsible working adult does not mean he should pay for someone who is not, to skate by in life without any consequences.

My ex is currently re-married, has a great job, and so does her new husband. The two of them combined make about 4 times the amount of income that I make. However, I am still forced to pay $1200 per month to her. This leaves me and my twin boys, whom live with me, little to nothing each month. Were trying to make it and I am trying to be the best father I can be, but the unfairness of this system makes each day such a challenge.

I couldn't afford to pay the $875 per month ordered by the courts. I gave my ex-wife $300- $400 a month through direct deposit. Just found out that doesn't count since it wasn't paid directly through child support. Now I owe $58,000 in back child support and the state is threatening to go after my DL. The broken system doesn't care that I have a 3 month old and 2 year old at home. Oh and I'm required to pay for health insurance as well even though the dependant child is already covered 100% by tri-care since my ex is active duty Air Force. That's another $130 added onto the child support. I can't support my family anymore.

Child support is ridiculous and invasive. If one parent is not given visitation rights (unless it's due to abuse, neglect or drugs on their part) then the other parent should have reduced Child Support. Both parents should be REQUIRED to work and the financial guidelines a fixed. NO ONE responsible for Child Support should have 50% of their income taken away and the person receiving child support should be required to report and prove what the money is being spent on. Any amount in excess of $300 per month per child is ridiculous and out of control. Child support agencies should have to provide a monthly accounting to the one paying support showing when payment was received, how it was distributed and the person paying should have the same rights and support that the person receiving does. Child support is a joke, run by greedy government, designed to render the father (in the majority of cases) incapable of ever being able to make it beyond simply existing and does not EVER make the mother (in most cases) accountable for being a tramp just looking for a "baby daddy" so she can keep her lazy*****parked on the couch all day. You can screw up ONE TIME - you have another child and you're not married to that person - you're clearly too stupid to know how to use birth control and should be forced to have your tubes tied / vasectomy so that you can't spread your stupidity in this world.

JOIN FREE: Federal Class Action for U.S. Child Custody Victims - Friends, I just joined CAPRA as one of the lead plaintiffs in an upcoming landmark federal class action lawsuit against all 50 States and the Federal Government, because I qualify as: (1) a biological parent whose child custody was unconstitutionally removed without due process; and, (2) I have been directly impacted by that during the last four years, i.e., within the statute of limitations. This class action is on behalf of *both* types of "family court" -- for wrongful victims of divorce-and-similar-with-kids *and* for wrongful victims of child protection services -- and includes suing on behalf of ANY parent affected by either "family court" type. It's totally free to join, and the federal court relief being demanded includes the full restoral of my child custody rights under law, plus a nice share of the large amount in civil damages expected. Check it out! It just requires entering someone's referral Code to join, so PLEASE use mine - 42085JL619 - in the CAPRA registration form, located on the bottom of the homepage at http://parentalrightsclassaction.com Plus, check out their power-packed Legal Tips page for all parents fighting family court, too -- Wow!! Thanks!!

My fiancé has a child from his previous marriage whom he pays over a third of his income to. She currently lives with her mom, so I'm not sure why the excessive amount of child support is needed. I want him to support his child, but I feel like he's just buying her whatever Michael Kors purse she wants. I have two children from my previous marriage, and my ex and I worked out that he would pay support based on what the childcare expenses were that month. I felt like that was fair and didn't feel the need to punish him because we divorced. I've felt a lot of stress over my fiancé' child support because I now feel like the sole provider in our house and have to work my butt off, sacrificing time that I would've spent with my kids, just so his ex can get her excessive amount of child support each month. It sucks. It hurts me. It hurts my kids, and I'm sure it hurts my fiancé.

I'm paying child support in SC. And I firmly believe there should be a reform due to the court favoring the mother and just consider the fathers as a cash cow.

I have been paying child support in the state of Ks. My child and mother moved to Nebraska. Nebraska says I owe 17000 the state of Ks says I owe 9000. I can't get any help from either state to resolve this matter. I can't afford an attorney to get it fixed either. I'm also not seeing my child or allowed to talk to her. Can someone please please help me?
