I have been told by my lending company that they are not based in the US so they do not have to following the guidlines. Yet they are able to utilize our court guidelines to start the foreclosure process on us. I have been trying to get help from someone for over a year now these programs the government has in place are not working for anyone. -

Didn't realize I was behind until November 2010, like every month go online, pay but it wouldn't accept payment - called lender, told her I was sending it in the mail. No problem. Called 2-weeks later for posting status, he said you're in foreclosure, do not make payments, sending modification papers. I kept asking him how can that be, he stated to me well what month did you think you were paying - I said October 2010 (I have their website prints with confirmation #s). He was unwilling to help me, I was a bother to him and his tone relayed that. I'm at my wits end...in shock. No answers, no help..lived in my home for 20+ years as a single mother and now this. I work full-time. Countrywide to BOA, gangsters, illegal - GREED!!! At our expense. Shame on you! Who will HELP US? Before they foreclosure on us?REPORT COMMENTS

We have been placed inside the micro wave by our Govt. at the behest of banks. Banks are the worst, much worst than 9/11. It is time now to let our Govt. know that banks has perpetrated this global economic tormoil with the blessing and help of fannie may and freddie mc a tentacle of our own Govt..With MERS we do not know if our lenders are Drug Cartel or laundered money since investors name are not declared and recorded. These bank knew what they were doing trying to makes us lose our home I think everyone that had these subprime loan Fraud for predatory should get their home free and clear if banks can not produce the original note..They got rid of these note because they knew it was noting but fraud in them.Now they should be though a lesson.The home owner have losed everything I know because of this loan we have lossed everything we ever work. Modification Shomdification, its a bunch of crap. 2 years after trying to get modified and they still havent got to our paper work. Our sheriff sale is feb. I dont even need a modification now, but they wont accept any payments. Now I guess I have to pack up my home of 7 years with my 4 year old in the middle of winter and find somewhere to move. Thanks corrupt banks I hope you sleep at night because I havent for the last 2 years.REPORT COMMENTS

I am a real estate broker who has tried to help many individuals do loan modifications prior to a short sale. Chase and Bank of America have been the worst to deal with. Chase gave a client a 43% loan modification today. His wife died this past year, so he lost her income. He has drained all his savings trying to stay current and preserve his credit. He has allowed his recently laid off, divorced daughter and her 3 children to move in. He's trying to keep a roof over everyone's head. He can afford 31% payments, but not 43%. Who can?? This isn't working because the same banks that were bailed out won't help the homeowners. This family is scared to death they will be homeless in few months. Do something!REPORT COMMENTS

The banks do everything to deny you. We have been trying to qualify for HAMP for 13 months...Once again denied. Banks said we needed to make more, so we rented out part of our home. Denied again...I hate WF/Wachovia/World Savings....Our loan is 50k negative deferred interest...make believe money tacked on back end....now too expensive for us.REPORT COMMENTS

The Investors are also changing Guidlines and can throw off where and when you do qualify. My husband was working. They told us we made to much money. By the time they go around to us again he was laid off. My loan was transferred from PNC to another servicer(Servicelink) who told me over the phone they were using the unemployment and within days it changed. But they already had my paperwork so they should not be able to change in the middle of the cycle...REPORT COMMENTS

This three months trial plan had become nine months now and it still is not finalized yet...The sad thing was Aurora then sold my loan to IBM Business Processing Lender, and IBM makes me to start submitting the whole Loan Modification all over again. I just lost my job, my financial situation getting even more tougher than nine month ago...to get qualify. I feel like Aurora wanted to avoid finishing my case without any consideration or responsibility. I don't know if the IBM would qualify me for EDD income? Why is the Aurora Lender playing game with their ELONGATED three months trial plan? What the HELL. And then now, IBM put my house on the foreclosure process... All the stories I have read are all too familiar. Wells Fargo has been putting me through HELL. They've claimed that they hav'nt received paperwork when I know that they did. I made the 3 trial payments on time only for them to come back and say I was non-compliant because they did'nt receive documentation within a time limit. LIES, LIES, AND MORE LIES!!!! I have 30 days to find a place to move my Alzheimer Mother, my recouperating open heart surgery husband, my daughter and numerous pets. I have lived in my home for 26 years and paid all my payments + one extra for "good faith" to only be told to get out! It was just a "form letter" not even a phone call. Got turned down for the HHF Restoring Stability because I filed bankruptcy and Wells Fargo and Chase did not reaffirm. They say I can not modify a mortgage that I am not legally responsible for. HUH? I was out of work for 18 months. I used most my 401k to meet my obligations (Mortgage, bills and living expenses). I files a request with Bank of America to modify my mortgage after 12 months. I've submitted all the paperwork, not once, not twice, not three times but four times. Lets be honest, as long as your paying, they have no interest in working with you. They will return to the Treasury again and again for another fix, ignoring their customers. This is total insanity and unfair! Please address this problem now!REPORT COMMENTS
