We have been dealing with the EMC nightmare for years! Their trial payment plan is fraud plain and simple.. They never disclosed to me that every trial payment I made put my loan in arrears. They just kept extending it, due to "longer than expected" processing time on what was supposed to be a permanent modification.. The underwriter Sylvia who was supposed to be HELPING me, told me not to put my income from 2nd job on application. Then was told I make too much for mod.. Next phone call I was told I don't make enough money for modification.. Going through third attempt now. I feel my home slipping out from under me because of these thieves. When I finally found out about the repayment plan fiasco, I was told I was 7,000 dollars in arrears. Even that varies from day to day. One caller will say 7,000 the next will say 10,000... I have resumed with making my normal payment, and they put it in suspense!!! And let my loan fall farther behind. They need to be taken to task and put out of business.. We the People need to foreclose on this business!

My loan was modified only to be increased 1 month later and now I am paying more than prior to the modification. As a result I am facing foreclosure again. This is a direct attept to foreclose on my home by the bank. I have sent the bank a payment and a half and after several follow up calls to customer care dept. loss mitigation dept. and speaking to several employees no one can tell me exactly where payments were applied at, when I emailed them and requested an account reconciliation I was sent a reply email stating the the have answered my request log on to view, I was locked out of the system and recieved a message saying that my acct. needs special handling, contact customer care. This is a nightmare. I have documented my everyday conversations and so far EMC Mortgage has failed to correct billing errors, provide itemized billing statements, Failed to honor a contract or agreement as requested, Failed to substantiate charges, and Failed to honor our contract per the loan modification agreement. I have worked hard as a single mom to keep a roof over our heads and I am scared to death of losing the most valuable thing in my life that I have been able to maintain. The banks are unfair and using all of there power to put me amongst others out of there homes as we are being jilted by the American Dream and the greed of the industry. I have realized that lenders and servicers make more money by causing loans to go into default. There are legal fees, late fees, administration fees, fees for this, and fees for that. Therefore, the servicers make more money from us (for their pockets) if you are in default than from those that make their payments on time. I am doing all that I know to do. Please help!!!!

I?ve been requesting assistance from Saxon since last year for a loan modification. I was declined for the HAMP, and have since given updated financials to the reps, and re-submitted a Saxon application. At this time, I?ve again faxed an updated Saxon Application (with required documents) for an In-House Hardship Request for Modification on 2/15/2011. The completed Application /required documents were faxed in error to Customer Relations and also mailed via US Post next day delivery, and was signed for. Per daily follow-up calls with a non-receipt of documents by reps., the documents were then re-faxed to the correct department as 3rd Requests to Imaging / Loss Mitigation on 2/19/2011, with daily follow-up calls. I?ve been working with a counselor at Bay Housing Services ( A Division of Bay Aging), conference calls with Hope Now counselors and Saxon supervisors; have contacted my Veterans Benefits Office ( I?m a Veteran) and HUD Office in expediting this Hardship Request as my house is scheduled to foreclose - Sale Date 3/15/2011. I intend to stay in my house as caretaker to my 84 year old mother who has Alzheimer?s and diabetes. I am her only child and caretaker. This home is all we have, and I'm trying my best to keep it. My story is one of many out there in need. Will someone please help us???

Homeowners are the ones struggling to pay mortgages while the banks and wall street are getting free money. Instead of sending billions of dollars overseas why doesn't the federal government help hard working Americans stay in their homes.

Banks are not helping us! It doesn't make any sense to me that the banks were the only ones who got financial help when they themselves are the cause of this whole housing mess. My bank like all others, doesn't seem to care and want to help us struggling to keep our home. They nit pick and kick our requests out for ridiculous reasons knowing that a loan modification is the only solution. Please as our Government, Help Us Americans who desperately want to keep our Homes!!!

Please help us - the working middle class people not the bank. I have spent a total of 20 months running around for BOA loan modification. Single home owners who put a large down payment for their home are really being treated unfairly with the modification system. Please help us the American middle class people not the bank.

This process needs to be fixed. I have tried for two years with no success. I thought I had a loan mod twice;I was in a trial mod; and then was told by WAMU/Chase that I didn't send in the correct paperwork or sent it to the wrong place. Chase is playing games with people.....I think Chase is the biggest ogre in this mess. they play bait and switch. They set you up and tell you don't worry' get thru 6 months of the trial mod; just sit tight then they tell you your under foreclosure again because they didn't tell you to send paystubs with your monthly statementand" it's not they fault and you have to understand the rules are changing just as fast for them"......WHAT.....they're not losing they're home. They're relationship managers do not help you and they change every couple of weeks and another is assigned and tells you that you have sent the wrong paperwork or sent it at the wrong time or its not filled out correctly. I called on 2/17/11 and was told they couldn't give me info on the NPV calculation for my modification denial. I was told to read the report and send in a rebuttable for any info I deemed wrong. We need help

Wells Fargo sent me down a path doomed to failure right off the bat. They outright lied to me over and over, took my trial money, didn't apply it to my account anywhere I can see as they will not tell me where they did apply it. I received many letters aimed at confusing me and every time I contacted them, nobody knew anything about my situation. That's just wrong on so many levels.

I have applied for a modification loan for the past year and a half. I have been asked for the same documents over & over & over! I have sent them their requested documents over & over; All I want is a Successful Permanent Modification. I am a very responsible person, but I got behind on payments due to loss of employment, I am now enjoying working again on a( secure ) job,I am not making as much as the job I lost. At my present income level, I will never miss a payment again if Chase will just give me the permanent modification!

Pls. make the OCC accountable for the many Banks that are not timely processing Mortgage Modifications. My dearest friend owns a mortgaged home , has 2 children AND is an underwriter in the mortgage industry. BANK of AMERICA has been a nightmare as she has tried to do a loan modification with them for over 1.5 yrs-------she can't even, with her 20 yr knowledge of mortgage's paperwork----get anywhere with final loan modification. Bank of America should be SHUT-DOWN !!!!!!

They don't give any information either on what will be offered for help. No wonder everyone is giving up and more stressed out then ever. I wish someone will hear my voice and give some advice!

I have been attempting to work with Chase Home Finance for over 2 years now to effect a loan modification. I have faxed and refaxed every single document they have asked for, made 4 months' worth of "trial payments" and still, my paperwork continues to languish on someone's desk until it "expires" and i have to start all over again. Alternately I have been denied for not sending documents that I was never asked for in the first place. I am convinced that the process is completely stacked against the customer and that the company simply hopes will give up and walk away from our homes. I do not understand how this happens time and time again to hard working people trying desperately to work with these banks. The process needs to be corrected, overseen and enforced. Innocent people are losing their homes and the banks do not care.

The banks are not willing to assist those people who want to keep their good credit rating, stick with their homes and except that they won't be able to get as much out of the sale of their homes as they'll be putting in and feel better about doing it ...we all need a modern day Robin Hood some kinda bad because the sheriff's at our door!
