I think it is time congress act to let people choose how to maintain their health, not bureaucrats. This is the 21st. century & we need tubeless insulin pumps as well as CGMs (constant glucose monitors.Dec 16th, 2015Someone from Freeville, NY signed.

As a Type 1 diabetic, I need insulin to live. Other infusion sets are covered by Medicare, but not Omnipod. Please consider reviewing this for those of us who use pumps with no tubing.REPORT COMMENTS

I can't emphasize how important this device is! I've used another brand pump that malfunctioned and I caused a terrible accident. I'm lucky to be alive. Now that I'm on Medicare, I am finding the cost of the pods prohibitive. We see so much waste with so many government programs. This truly saves lives and keeps control better than anything I've used in my 43 years as a Type I diabetic.REPORT COMMENTS

I'm a type 1 uncontrolable diabetic. This pump could save my life and reduce 15 to 20 sticks a day. If you (congress was not getting the needs you medically need what would you do) please pass thisREPORT COMMENTS

I have been trained to wear the Omnipod. It's comfortable, easy to use, is waterproof, and has no messy tubing to get caught on clothing. Please cover this pump.REPORT COMMENTS

Medicare need to rewrite the law banning the coverage of this vital, important and essential insulin pump that allows diabetics to both better control their disease and live productive lives. That is all we are asking.REPORT COMMENTS

I love my omnipod! I worked diligently for 50 years. I am now retired and Medicare will not pay for the pods. The pod pumps insulin, which keeps me alive. Please change the coding system so that we elderly who helped grow this country can enjoy our retirement and not have to get another job to cover the cost of these wonderful pods.REPORT COMMENTS

As far as health insurance goes, this is only an issue for Medicare, not commercial Insurance Companies. This country's retirees who worked all their lives, contributed to medicare all their working lives, deserve better.REPORT COMMENTS

Omni Pod is the only insulin pump I've used. I turn 65 in March 2016 and will be Medicare eligible. I am extremely concerned that my health, and the health of millions of others, is being jeopardized by the lack of insight of members of Congress. Tubeless insulin pumps are the way of the future and it is vital that they are considered "best practice" and not experimental.REPORT COMMENTS

Our insurance have the pods under Dura Medical. State doesn't cover the pods. Can you please change the code numbers to help us. Appreciate your time.REPORT COMMENTS

I am a 66 year old type 1 diabetic. Currently, I wear the omni pod which has given me the best control of my diabetes in 50 years. Since I am retired the $300 monthly cost of the omni pods is quite prohibitive and I spend half of my monthly social security benefits just to pay for them. Why doesn't medicare want us to help control our diabetes and avoid other complications due to diabetes? Its very apparent that the Government DOES NOT CARE about diabetic health care needs!REPORT COMMENTS

Please, my girlfriend needs an omnipod. She had so much hope that she could get one of these. However she recently learned that medicare does not cover any of the costs of the omnipod. Now, because of that she has lost the will to take her insulin entirely and is severely depressed. All she wants is this omnipod but cannot afford it unless it is approved for coverage from medicareREPORT COMMENTS
