The pros definitely outweigh the cons on this! Let's be proactive on this and not reactive to the results of not having proper management ofdiabetes!

Long term complications from uncontrolled diabetes is a lot more expensive than the cost in insulin pump supplies, specifically the Omnipod!!

Given the costs of not adequately treating diabetes, this should be a no-brainer in long term prevention

It's hard enough to live with T1 Diabetes. The Omnipod makes it easier. When I retired and went on Medicare I felt like I was being punished for this denial of payment. It just doesn't make sense.

I used a different pump with tubing for 14 years, and while it was helpful in the management of my type 1 diabetes, switching to the OmniPod earlier this year has been life-changing for me. No longer being tethered has given me a sense of freedom that I have not felt since before my diagnosis in 1982. I cannot imagine having to go back to shots or a pump with tubing, which I will not do if the Pod is not an option for me when I switch to Medicare. Diabetes is a 24/7 chronic disease that is challenging to manage, and those who deal with it daily deserve to have choices.

I use the Omnipod pump and would hate to have this taken away in a few years when I go on medicare! Shots are so barbaric, and I don't every want a tubed pump. Please don't take away this amazing piece of medical equipment. We all deserve choices.

I work as a certified diabetic educator and it makes no sense that if a patient is using Omnipod that once they enroll in Medicare they have to earn another insulin pump. It also makes no sense to me that if a patient has been on a pump prior to enrollment in Mediare that just because they go to Medicare they must pass a C-Peptide test.

Not all pumps are created equal! Believe me I know. 47 years on insulin and tried several pumps. Omni Pod has it hands down. We all deserve a choice, and this is mine.

People that struggle with diabetes should not be limited to choices over the governments decisions. Each patient deserves their choice of life saving devices. QUALITY OF LIFE!!!!!!!

Omnipod is a good option for a pump, It should be equally covered by Medicaid and Medicare as the other pumps are.

We need this change as a Senior citizen new to Medicare and such a blow to find out my pump is not covered like it was with other insurance. Please make this change in Medicare. Health issues are a lot higher with shots than the pump. Thanks
