Having type one diabetes is a challenge in itself. Using the tubeless Omnipod removes one less problem to deal with. Omnipod to me,is one of the greatest inventions ever to aid those with diabetes.REPORT COMMENTS

I am wanting to change my insulin pump yo the omni pod system. I have gone from Medtronic mini mec to omni pod. Got talked to going back to the Medtronic system. It is terrible. Very user unfriendly and my numbers are off the board. Omni pod system worked so well for me keeping my diabetes under tighter control. I am eligible for a new pump. I am turning 65 in June and just found out Medicare does not cover omni pods. This is ridiculous. Now in addition to going to Medicare and finding a supplement insurance co. It is a nightmare. I have been a diabetic type one for 55 years and feel I have worked hard to stay healthy. This should be the subscribers choice not the boardrooms!REPORT COMMENTS

Good, functional prevention is worth a pound of cure. Please consider allowing Medicare to cover the Omni Pod Insulin Pump. I don't like age discrimination and I think that is what this is.REPORT COMMENTS

Medicare, dollars are going to the Acute Care Nursing Homes. Why aren't the dollars going to the people that need Acute Care, but want to be in their home environment. The main factor MedicaRe is forgetting is human beings basic needs for the elderly and disabiled. The fear of a new environment, which causes feelings of isolation, that leads to depression. In the end this causesthe a major increase in medical costs. Wake up, and cut costs, and allow people to be home.REPORT COMMENTS
