I think everyone deserves a second chance in life. These so called laws keeping felons from having city jobs is ridiculous how can people that committed crimes regain a sense to redeem them selves with laws keeping them from obtaining any type of job to keep them from repeating their mistakes! without a job how can a person take care of himself/herself every person in this world is no different felon or non-felon. people make mistakes in life without mistakes people won't learn!

Us families are getting the same punishment, with our loved one missing in our lives... no one there for the kids.... the punishment is too severe... and with very little parole... all of our lives and our kids lives are ruined...

I have been living a law abiding life for nearly ten years now. I'm married with three kids by my wife and no outside kids. I have a job but it's at a Taco Bell which doesn't pay enough to take care of my family and have life, liberty , and the pursuit of happiness. Yea they say we can get a job in these types of fields but even some of these jobs won't hire you. I am a certified forklift driver and can buid a house from the ground up but yet I can't find a job that will hire me due to my felony conviction. It seems that the country that was so founded on GOD is going the opposite way of GOD. How do belive a country that has got our faith by saying we were founded on GOD but do everything the devil wants them to do but expects us to vote for them and pay taxes. They alienate us as if we are strangers in our own country. Yea we made mistakes in our life but some of us are trying to whats right but are forced back into the old life to provide for our families. I ain't going to lie, I ain't going to stand back while my kids are hunger and need a place to lay down.
