DST is an example of "magical thinking." Only date and latitude change the length of daylight. Clock time doesn't. Many businesses & gov't agencies already have summer & winter hours. If we want to do something when it's light outside, we should change our schedules, only as needed. We have many more devices which have clocks in them, than when DST was enacted. It now takes a long time just to change the clocks; the time changes are known to be associated with many medical problems, including fatalities. Leave the clock time alone and stay on Standard Time every day. -

Let nature take its course. We get longer evenings in the Summer anyway, no need to get greedy. Sunlight helps us feel alert in the mornings, which is preserved during the standard time seasons. Time changes, both in the fall and spring, are unnecessary psychological and physiological stressors, especially in the workaholic times we're living in. Besides, there's value in enjoying a warm summer night, with or without sunlight.REPORT COMMENTS

Please put an end to Daylight Savings Time. Most people (especially our children), have trouble waking up in the dark. Our children have to wait at the bus stops in the dark as well. It's very dangerous. Also we (as a whole) aren't truly awake until later in the morning during DST so we are less productive at work as well as in the classroom. It takes a long time to get used to and totally messes with our internal clocks.REPORT COMMENTS

I want to experience the natural lengthening and shortening of daylight with the changing seasons, without having DST mess everything up, and cause is to have to reset my our clocks twice a year. It's ridiculous, stressful, and there is no valid reason to keep doing this. In fact, there was never a valid reason to ever have done it. The farmers have always been against it.
