As a mom with two small children (7m and 3 Yrs) I can’t even begin to explain the toll that daylight savings time has on my children’s sleep and my health. Seriously- as a parent I’m already sleep deprived but by messing with our clocks and SLEEP every 6 months you’re only making it worse! SO MUCH WORSE! Please, I’m begging, can we stop pointless daylight savings time? :( -

Changing the time twice a year does nothing to help anyone. It messes with circadian rhythm. Having it turn dark at 5pm in the winter has been known to cause increase in mental health issues, increase in crime, and decrease in physical health. Fatigue following the time change puts workers at a greater risk of injury. There is no reason to continue with this archaic, useless, annoying and dangerous practice.REPORT COMMENTS

It is no longer useful or effective - return to a standard time. It is also very disruptive for our children who have to be focused and attentive in school. I live in Florida and when it starts getting dark the elderly head home, they don't want to drive in the dark. The restaurants empty our stores empty out and business is done for the day. Before the fall time change the people are out shopping and business is good. Florida needs to get away from DST. There is no need for it anymore. Stop this insanity!
