Watch in the next couple of week car accident will spike. And no correlation will be drawn to the time change. Also ending this the time change madness will not cancel summer like so many who like longer evenings daylight. Why can't we just allow Mother Nature to naturally take us into summer time and enjoy it as is “why”? One thing that is constantly preached to us and encouraged to help better our lives is to get your "zzzz" however for the next few month (yes I said months) after each time change (specially the spring forward one) really disrupts our ability to sleep. Our coastal elite residence shouldn't have a monopoly on this time change. These coastal elite residence already live in a great location so why can’t they enjoy it without this highly disruptive time change mandate. our family lives in 3 different time zones ... it is hard enough keeping up with time differences let alone the ridiculous time change when Michigan is 3 hours different ... keep the fall behind times and leave it! Please get rid of Daylight Savings Time. There are no good reasons for it. The days get longer naturally for people to enjoy their summer. No need to change our clocks. It only puts people in a state of forced jet lag. Not good on our working people. Get rid of it. You have to think, and ask yourself, "why are we still doing this?" It affects me personally for months and my hope has been that someday, someone with authority would get rid of it once and for all. It is one thing that could be easily done...so do it.
