Multiple studies have shown that DST causes the following drawbacks and it does not produce the promised energy savings so it is time to STOP THIS STUPID PRACTICE AND ALLOW THE AMERICAN PEOPLE TO SLEEP BETTER: 1. decreased sleep = increased stress and heart attacks 2. More auto and workplace accidents 3. $434M in opportunity cost of time wasted adjusting all household clocks twice a year. -

Police say, Mark Rodgers, a 63-year-old Somerset resident was traveling northbound on South Middlebush Road when he struck a large buck deer that was crossing the roadway, in his 2017 Hyundai Elantra. The deer came through the windshield and struck Rodgers before it landed in the back seat of the car, police say. Rodgers was taken to a local area trauma center where he is currently listed in critical condition, according to police.
