I've been dealing with DCF for almost a year and a half now and they never seem to want to close my case they're always looking for a dumb reason to leave my case open. They have come to my house seen that my kids are not being neglected or mistreated and my DCF worker just keeps insisting that my case stays open. I have had multiple 51a's filed against me without any evidence just because my daughter has ADHD and sometimes her behavior in school is not the best even though she tries her hardest to do as her teachers ask. most her teachers in school do not along with her just because she doesn't act her age (9yrs old). about two days ago a neighbor from where I reside ( apartment complex) called DCF and made false allegations saying I was in a domestic violence relationship that is not true at all and that we where selling meds. I don't understand how they say that they are here to help family's out to unite the family and help make things better but all they are doing is making things worse, breaking up family's, making children suffer for they're convenience just to get they're pay check. They never take the time to consider that the person who is calling them filling 51a's for stupid reason might just not get along with the person who they are accusing, why don't they investigate the person who is making the allegations also see the relationship that they have with the person they are accusing. I don't know what I would do if my daughters are taken away from me just because certain people don't get along with me it is not right that we live a world where these people (DCF WORKERS) are only interested in destroying family's instead of helping them how can the sleep at night knowing that these beautiful angels are being mistreated in foster care.. a place they suppose is safer then home where the belong.. something needs to be done with all this injustice, No judge should be scared of DCF, DCF should be scared of a judge because ''THEY ARE THE LAW". DCF is a big joke.They have ruin my 6yr old & her 2 little sisters lives. I went to prison and a year later my ex-girlfriend and I broke up and DCF ended up in their lives. They took my daughter over my child's mother car broke down on the way to the 72 hour hearing. When she got to court they already made the decision that DCF would have legal rights but my daughter would stay with her mother. 15 minutes later she received a call from the DCF saying that they are taking my child. "I talked to your probation officer and said my ex had a dirty urine"As my daughter went to a foster home for 5 months before her mother and DCF went back to court & found out that DCF worker never talk to her probation officer. They still kept my child. While I was in prison I did parenting classes & did a father read aloud class (you record yourself reading a book & mail the book& CD home) I was spouse to have visits with my daughter once a month for 2 hours. The first visit was rough my daughter would not even talk to me. I didn't see her again for 2 months, that visit was great once she seen me she ran into my arms. I received a letter saying I could go to a 6th month review. (Once again I'm in prison) I worked hard with the prison casework to set a phone conference up. During this meeting I found out that the DCF worker missed several home visit & my own visit. The DCF worker wasn't @ the meeting or the foster women. When I was looking up case law I found out about the grievences. I wrote grievences on the missed visit -not going to do home visits- not being at the meeting. To this day I still haven't answered it & that was over 18 month -2yrs ago. I received a parole and went to a halfway house & completed the program. Once I got out of jail I did a 1 one 1 parenting for 5 months. I fired my lawyer because I felt she wasn't helping me it was more like helping DCF. I finished the program in 5 months & was in my own apartment. I did everything on the Service Plan. It still took DCF 8 more months before my child came home. While trying to get overnight visit the DCF kept saying no because of my record so I took the DCF to court for abuse of power. Instead of going to court they met my request. Last time in court the DCF worker wasn't there so they continue my case for another year. While speaking with the worker after a 6 month review she says I need your urine test & have to run your cori. It took a few months to get my urine test I'm still waiting for my cori 4 month's layer My ex-girlfriend had 2 more kids they took one of them because of the so called dirty urine. A few months later is when it came out that she never talked to the probation so they returned the baby back to my ex but left my daughter in the foster home. My ex-girlfriend got into some trouble & went to jail pregnant. Her daughter was with her dad & older sister. DCF came &took the baby put her in a foster home. We have had an EPIC F*** up with DCF. They can't get their heads out of their a***** to do things in a timely manner. They investigate the wrong people, and let kids fall through the cracks. Federal mandates are ignored and children's lives are ruined because they can't get things done when they should be. 7 years to terminate parental rights? $35,000 to adopt a child from the system?!?! I feel all your pain, but trust me adopting a child is no fun and games either with DCF. My wife and I passed all the BS associated with adoption, listened to a snot nosed 26 year old who just got a degree and has no real life experience telling me how to raise a child. We have a wonderful smart, health, funny loving 11 year old, live in a nice home, on a nice street, the wife stays home and I make a great living. All we are looking for is a second child between the ages of 8 and 11 to complete our family. DCF would rather stick these kids with people who do not care and are out to keep the money they pay for themselves, stick them in homes with 4 to 8 kids and no one who cares about them or put them in dangerous situations rather than loving homes. The average DCF worker makes between 70k and 75k (look it up its public) for that kind of money we should at least have a system that works. Having to wait weeks and weeks for answers to simple questions is ridiculous. Pushing paper back and forth, having meetings that do not produce results does not help the child, and trust me we have heard horror stories from other potential parents and they all feel or have had the same situations. DCF just wants you to go away as placing children will hurt the agency's bottom line.REPORT COMMENTS

My ex-husband and his fiance (who is a DCF worker) filed 3 reports against my and my partner and all allegations were proven to be false and they are still opening a case because when they interviewed my daughter she said that she was uncomfortable with my partner. You know why? because all she hears is that her father hate my partner and tells her he isn't her family. Even though he has been part of her life for the last 5 years. Of course they won't tell you who did the reports to prove it was them. Even though information in the reports points directly to conversations I had with my ex and a conversation my mom had with his fiance. I recently just went through a court hearing that was supposed to be in regards to the saftey of my nephew. However, it turned into something completely different and I do not feel DCF did their job at all. I believe it actually is harming my family and the child- especially considering his condition got worse while in their care before it got better. I was a witness in this particular case and am pretty sure they broke several laws including HIPAA, discrimination, with a biased unfair hearing and lack of professionalism- especially their lawyer. How is it legal to take custody of a child when you have not even filed paperwork? How can dcf order a hospital to refuse to give out medical information regarding their child to their own mother? How about the lawyer not showing up on time and deciding the outcome of the case before the hearing is even complete? We were in court for three days. Day one- no paperwork was even in the system and DCF had taken custody for over three days. Day two- DCF made the decision on what they were doing with the case - day three spent 8 hours in court to be told the decision was made from the hearsay testimonies from day 2 court session. This is not acceptable to me. Especially when there is medical evidence - the medical timeline- proving my family is innocent of the accusations against us but we are still being accused and held accountable for the alleged crime. What is worse is they are not even looking at the police investigative report which also confirms my family is innocent. Why isn't DCF looking at the evidence? Why are they giving custody to someone who has a history of assault, drug use, and anger problems over a caring loving mother who has a supportive family to help her with the child and Is actively seeking treatment for any issues she has? How is that just ot fair? How did a saftey hearing turn into a "he- said - she said" - custody battle with biased prejudiced opinions rather than fact? Why was the actual evidence not even looked at? Why was the truth "immisible and stricken" from the records but hearsay and opinions were allowed and gathered as fact? Why can't the family see the child- especially when they had nothing to do with the so called "incident"? Doesn't keeping the child from his family for over two weeks cause more harm to the actual family and child than good when they have to give up school, their job, their home, and what not all because of one isolated incident? And according to the DCF website they are supposed to provide services to me and my family and not once have they offered anything. Throughout this whole thing we had 3 DCF workers and even the the DCF supervisor "had no clue as to what was going on and why things were happening the way they were". If you don't even know your own system how are you helpig anyone? DCF is going to far and has to be stopped!REPORT COMMENTS

DCF,namely Patrick Brank, Worcester office investigated my family and decided to open a case against my family after an investigation where everyone was investigated and it was apparent my 6 ft autistic son was the aggressor After years of being verbally and physically abused by my son, takes its toll. Asked for help so many times to no avail. Now they are threatening to take my daughter if my son acts up at all and I have to call for help. Cant win for losing.When I called Patrick's supervisor, Lynn Norcross, she didn't even know Patrick's last name. professionalism at its best! Kids die in DCF custody and ate raped in foster homes and they threaten to take my beautiful, high honors, well adjusted daughter if l so much can't control a kid twice as big as me and I have 12 years of paperwork saying how I'm unable to control him. What kind of option is that. The whole agency should be ripped apart and investigated piece by piece. Now my son threatens to tell lies about me and his father to get what he wants. DCG made a difficult situation so I CH worse and Michael is not getting the help he needs be cause of the unveiled threat of Patrick,the DCF reporter. I have so much to say I could write a book about DCF and the system which is failing families. DCF has so much judgement and no compassion. I am social worker and I am sick to see first hand how this agency in Leominster is tearing down people. I have seen the two doctor reports my grandson was interviewed with Statement like "what else does your dad do to you." These type questions for hours. I feel helpless and this system is not getting any better. My grandsons were removed over two years ago and Dcf doesn't want them back with their parents. Their parents have done everything humanly possible. Not enough for these social workers and supervisor. I believe the media is the only way to get stories out to the community. I am disgusted by the system set in place here in MA, DCF is an embarrassment to our state and it hurting loving families. I am a daycare worker and extremely attentive and loving. After ONE missed doctors appointment, DCF was at my front door. I live almost an hour away from the doctors office and CALLED ahead of time to cancel, but the "message was never received."
