I am an educated and work experienced women who came here to support her husband with a hope for future . A ray of hope sparked when equal rights were granted finally and H4 - i140 approved spouses were able to work . And now within 2 yrs all seems like shattering . We are not here to take/ steal anyone’s job . All we want is the same privelege which people in other visas are given , an equal right , a right to live our life , a right to work and earn our own bread . Please consider the quest of so many lives attached with this H4 ead.

I'm not someone who is impacted by this change, but still, it is unfair to deny people who are here legally and are paying taxes, the right to work. Add some rules, like the other visa classes for jobs. If they are setting up a business let them do it like any legal permanent resident would. These are citizens in waiting, you are in a way upsetting your future voters.

Please don't cancel H4 EAD. H1B workers and spouses from India and China are waiting for green card for 5 to 10 years and this EAD gives them an opportunity to supplement US workforce, open new businesses and hire American workers.

I am a pediatrician in training from one of the renowned Universities in the Southern U.S. state focusing on rural health care. I am on H4-EAD, if I lose my EAD and eligibility to work, it is the U.S. citizen who is going to lose a doctor in making. we are contributing to the economy in many different ways and not taking a penny from social schemes like Medicaid, Medicare or any similar. Please do not revoke H4 EAD

Everyone talks about women empowerment and equality between men and women! But if this rule is revoked it is going to impact majority of women population who are extremely qualified and well educated but sitting at home with no means to work or earn a living ! This is just not fair as everyone deserves a equal chance and it’s very disappointing to know that they are even considering to revoke this rule !

It is unfair to stop h4 EAD. We are skilled people with adequate education and qualifications and contributing to the US economy. We are not stealing anyone's job rather getting hired on our own merits. Just revoking h4 EAD abruptly is not a solution.

Why is no one talking about L1 and J1 spouses, why is the government only targeting h1b spouses? Aren't the L2 and J2 workers taking away the so called American jobs?

H4 EAD is only helping grow American economy by introducing more bright and deserving people, revoking this rule is going to have a huge impact to the jobs that are being performed by them and Naturally decrease the economic growth.revoking is not a solution

‘ Save American jobs ‘ are we stealing it or people are hiring us on merit bases ? It’s a simple question . Revoking this rule is simple example of discrimination. I worked in India came to US after marriage and have been sitting unproductive inspite of my double PG , since ten years . This is so painful and stressful and depressing , When I know my caliber and being just at home doing nothing . I lost my confidence here . Inspite of revoking do some amendments , set wage limits , some criteria on education .

I was an H1b holder but due USCIS mistake my H1b was compromised.. my company filed H1b twice and was denied. But luckily this H4EAD came out and I could take advantage and get back in track. I have being working since past 15 years it is not easy for me to sit at home without a job. Almost 11 years when I come to this country we are paying all the taxes, it’s not easy to stay at home and not work.

Came here leaving a very good job that kept me really happy and content Reason being I wanted to be close to my husband I got EAD applied for thousands of jobs , got a few call backs I gave 5 rounds of interview , background check and then landed on a job . It isn’t justified to lose a job to any reason other than poor performance . Don’t shove us back into that dark pit of financial dependency and loss of self confidence .
