We contribute to the economy more than we earn. Many of H4 EAD holders take jobs which are low paying but want the freedom to work. I work as a Math teacher and have a masters degree in teaching. There is a shortage of teachers. Please do not remove this provision. Spouses on other visas are allowed to work from day 1. Please provide equal opportunity to everyone.REPORT COMMENTS

We are legal immigrants paying all taxes from day one.With the green card backlog and current Green card statistics it will take next 30 yrs for our green card.meaning If I want to work I have to stay at home for next 30 years because I can't work on H4 visa.This is story of all h4 visa holders,We will be in our 50-60 age group when we get gc.Why is this for only h4 visa holders.This is injustice ,traumatic .How fair is this for legal immigrants .REPORT COMMENTS
