    This NEEDS to Pass! It was wrong to stop and now the animals are suffering from starvation and neglect. It has destroyed an industry and put many people out of work. Special interest groups pushed for this disaster and now it must be rectified.

    The closing of the horse slaughter facilities has caused economic & emotional harm to humans and horses alike. We are sending all our money and horses to Canada & Mexico to be processed! All we're doing is inflating their economy and making the horses suffer more by having them shipped so far. For the sake of OUR economy, OUR livelyhood, OUR horses, bring humane slaughter back to the US!
