Friday they were at my door , i have dealt with them b4 , but this time , Im hiring a lawyer and they r gonna leave me and my happy children alone .... We need to shut them down ... Ocean county DYFS workers are "skunk bags" as my 10 yr old daughter says ... When will it end ... NJ is the worst , and someone needs to put it to an end !!!!! Good luck everyone !! MY X HUSBAND AND I HAVE BEEN DIVORCED FOR OVER A YEAR AND SEPARATED FOR ABOUT 4. THE DIVORCE WAS HELL HE DRAGGED ME IN AND OUT OF COURT AND WOULDN'T JUST SIGN THE DIVORCE PAPERS EVEN AFTER HE FILED FOR DIVORCE. WE HAVE A SON TOGETHER WHICH IS NOW 5. HE FOUGHT FOR CUSTODY FOR A YEAR IN COURT BECAUSE HE DIDNT WANT TO PAY CHILD SUPPORT. THE ONLY WAY HE WOULD QUIT WAS IF I GAVE HIM SPLIT CUSTODY WITH NO CHILD SUPPORT IN PLACE. I FINALLY GAVE IN 8,000 DOLLARS LATER IN ATTORNEY FEES. A MONTH AND A HALF LATER HE SAID HE CHANGED HIS MIND AND WILL ONLY TAKE MY SON EVERY OTHER WEEKEND WHICH IS JUST FINE WITH ME!! SO I EXPLAINED TO HIM HE NEEDS TO PAY SOMETHING WE AGREED ON 100 A WEEK WHICH HE PAID ON AND OFF FOR THE LAST FEW YEARS AS HE IS ALWAYS IN AND OUT OF JOBS!!! HE HASN'T PAID IN THE LAST 3 MONTHS AND WHEN I TELL HIM IM GOING TO COURT FOR CHILD SUPPORT HIM AND HIS FAMILY PULL SOME CRAZY STUNT AND CALL YOU KNOW WHO DYFS. THE STATE SHOULD NOT LET THESE PEOPLE MAKE CRAZY ACCUSATIONS. I UNDERSTAND THAT IN SOME HOMES THESE ISSUES MAYBE THE CASE, BUT WHEN THEY WALK INTO A HOME A SEE A WELL RAISED CHILD AND CLEAN HOME AND FOOD IN THE HOUSE THEY SHOULD THEN WALK OUT. I HAVE NOOOO PROBLEM WITH THEM INTERVIEWING ME AND CHECKED OUT MY HOME, MY ISSUE COMES INTO PLAY WHEN THEY WANT TO SIT AND QUESTION MY 5 YEAR OLD SON!!! MY SON IS VERY SMART AND WHEN HE QUESTIONS ME ABOUT WHY THEY ARE ASKING HIM WEIRD QUESTIONS LIKE DOES HE GET HIT? OR DOES ANYONE HIT HIM WHEN HES NAKED? YES I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT. SOMEONE NEEDS TO PUT SOME LIMITATIONS ON THIS. THE STATE ALLOWS CALLS TO COME FROM ANYONE WHICH IS WRONG. IF YOU HAVE A DISPUTE WITH AN EX THESE CALLS SHOULD NOT BE TAKEN TO THIS EXTENT. I AM A GREAT MOM I TAKE CARE OF MY SON AND MY SON AND I SHOULDNT BE QUESTIONED BECAUSE HIS FATHER DOESNT WANT TO PAY CHILD SUPPORT!!!!!!REPORT COMMENTS

this too young mother of my great grand boys left the boys alone ages 3&4 and was sent to jail for many months, and has unsupervised visiting rights!! I don't get it.while the father is in the Army and came back to NJ by Army and stationed at Fort Dix because of this happening and still waiting for custody of his 2 boys!! this happened last Holloween night when she was arrested for leaving the boys alone. Long story short...I was honest with DYFS about my situation and it ended up biting me in the ass! A safety plan is now in place because I would not comply after I realized the investigator was trying to take my 13 year old daughter, who I RAISED by myself and give her to her father. The situation is harming not helping my daughter. Treatment 3 nights a week 25 minutes away from my town, not able to be alone with my daughter which is causing an unstable living arrangement, Loss of job due to court dates,etc etc. All of this is based upon a what if scenario. My daughter and I have been fine for 13 years now our life is turned upside down because of the state. I am at a loss for words. They do more harm than good. They need to concentrate on the kids who REALLY are in need of them and leave the rest of us alone.REPORT COMMENTS

Screening-in people regardless of anonymous caller reporting FALSE ACCUSATIONS, ABUSE OF POWER telling people they HAVE to let them into their homes or they WILL REMOVE CHILD, Lying to manipulate custodial parent into "agreed placement"Having safety plan w/out involving the CUSTODIAL PARENT or advocates knowledge. USING " THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CHILD, AND THE CHILDS SAFETY" as a tool to gain IMMUNITY from our right for due process. ACKNOWLEDGES THAT "VOLUNTARY' is a strange way to word it considering that it is not in any sense VOLUNTARY they will file a dependency if you do not agree....AND IF YOU ARE IN RECOVERY AND HAVE EVER BEEN INVOLVED WITH THE DEPARTMENT BEFORE, YOU ARE SUBJECT TO LOSE YOUR CHILD IF YOU RELAPSE EVEN IF IT WAS ISOLATED AND YOU HAVE DONE WHAT TAUGHT TO DO AND PUT YOURSELF BACK ON TRACK EVEN INTO TREATMENT.... AND DO NOT ANSWER YES TO ANY THING ON The safety assessment risk form used for investigations....It designed in such a way that any answer YES will consider that the child is unsafe and a safety plan need to be done and if there is a YES answer for the safety plan analysis its a IN-HOME safety plan if you answer NO its a OUT OF HOME safety plan. This is very unfair and HUGE misuse of power.
