Dyfs took my son because someone i trusted (baby sitter left him alone and people who couldn't find or contact me because they abused me as a child and the baby sitter called and made accusations against me and they happened to show up when she left him alone. I wat bullied into giving him up after the took my secon don at 4 months old just because they had my first they recently lost the trial and then tried to have me arrested because i had a warrent but my feionce bailed me out the next week she tried to make accusations agaions against me saying i was doing illegal activity because i could pay my bail and shave a laptop and a tablet andthen when i said dont worry about where i got it she went on to tell me i could have made better purchases with the money than a laptop for school she does everything last minute says im not doing what i have to and i am and its ruining my life she invades my privacy and tells other people i know whats going on with my case as well and its nobodys business but mine she asks me about my sex life and religion like it has somethin to do with my case then tries to use it against me even if she makes up the answers to the questions i refuse to answerREPORT COMMENTS

i have been dealing with dcfs for 16 months now i m a enduring freedom veteran an a full time national guard employee this has been probably the worst thing to ever happen to me more than war more than being locked in the dome for katrina.This has been going on since december 2010 i was on active duty at ft.polk in leesville la an got a phone call saying that the children had been taken i went home did the hearing i was on active duty an really didn t have any family to get the kids my dad offered but they said he had to much help problems for four kids so i waited was doing my case plan my wife was in rehab before the could refer her she had allready gone i was in methadone treatment had been since march 2010 was doing pretty good in it had a few slips but was doing way better than i was before stayed workin didn t worry about the lights getting cut off good i would say so the six month review came around an the kids lawyer had a problem with my treatment so it went up an down for about three months then they had a ruling to were it was ok to stay in treatment they said stay on a stable dose i had worked my way down to 55 mgs after that i got back on my stable dose of 70mgs i hadn t failed no hair test no drug test from my clinic this is november an the wife relapses so they send her to there treatment place an she goes we had court in december an the supervisor was on the stand an said they would put the kids in my custody with housing an a family care plan an no contact with there mom well i said i could apply for post housing at carville at this time i am no on a full time status here i told them this could take 3 months they said we got time well the post never approved housing nothing never opened they said by now its march an court has come around an they still questioning my employment after all my check stubs tax returns an a provement of employment letter they call my job said it was to verify employment no it was to tell my boss i took methadone i didnt get in trouble but i feel like thats what they were trying to do then they want my dd 214 to see if i ever been discharged i m a national guardsmen everytime i get put on active duty i get discharged from afghanistan to hurricane katrina all that stuffs active duty time its normal to be discharged from active duty when you are a guardsmen well march court date came around it got moved to april then that court date gets moved because my lawyer gets caught selling oxycontin out his office the month of april i was on annual training for 2 weeks i took that money an rented my house away from bogalusa an me an the wife files for divorce i have a 3 bedroom house an a nanny to help me she was a daycare worker so shes certified in every way the foster parent is a daycare worker so mine should be good enough they never call her background check its like they had there mind made up no matter what i do so we get to court an the judge is tierd an aggervated itd the last case of the day hes cuttiREPORT COMMENTS

There is a growing problem in this country called Child Protective Services. In many states they are thier own unit with nothing or nobody to monitor thier activity. There is no such thing as internal affairs in thier offices. Time and time again, they interfere in families' lives, breaking up homes, causing our children to have mental/mood/behavior disorders because of psychiatric trauma, and snatching children to "sell" on the market through their adoption proceedings. Georgia CPS is a good example. $20,000 to adopt a child was the going rate 5 years ago. My children were removed from my home because of an accident. All 5 of my children. CPS came into my home in the middle of the night and woke my children, took them out of my house in thier pajamas and told them they could take a toy.The next day, the worker found out what was going on in my household and apologized to me for the misunderstanding and said he would never have taken my children had he known the situation the night before. He tried to get my children back to me only to be thwarted by his supervisors and fired (which he filed and won a lawsuit due to the fact that he did nothing wrong against the CPS office that fired him). I was sent to take a psychiatric evaluation to a man that was not a psychiatrist nor was he even a psychologist and the test I was given was what is given to patients before they have surgery. They kept my children for a year. I lost the land I was buying for my children, lost many of my children's personal possession and when I got my children back, they were not the same children mentally that left my home. A social worker at the school that knew my children very well commented that they looked like my children but did not act like them. Since I have gotten my children back I have had to deal with HUGE personality changes, psychiatric problems and behavior problems. Even after 4 years, I still have problems with my oldest 3 children with behavior problems (when I say this, I mean to excess, not the normal stuff), mood disorders and anxiety issues. How did this help my children? From what I and my children's pediatrician has seen, they have done nothing but lasting harm to my children. And each time they are called for an unfounded case to my house, the cases stay open longer and longer. I was told this was because I had a history of CPS involvement. All the cases of neglect or abuse that I was accused of were proven unfounded. There has never been any neglect or abuse in my household, just one parent with minor health problems, 1 parent that has suffered 2 nervous breakdowns so now has psychiatric issues (non violent, he passes out and has debililating anxiety attacks) and 2 special needs children. This is just my case, but if you look over this petition you will see many, many, many more cases similar or the same as mine. Its time to get rid of these child traffickers and abusers disquised as an agency that protects children.REPORT COMMENTS

I was taken to court by Dyfs without any warning whatsoever. No subpeona, no summons, not even a verbal notice. Despite that and despite a 27-page complaint against me and my wife i kicked some dyfs butt. Oh yeah, did i mention that i did not even have a lawyer? That is because dyfs agents Laurin Gaffin,Deborah Eckleberg, Keri Hauber,and Brian Barneetz are morons. They were all from the Vorhees office. It is not me who called them morons but the Honorable Judge Robert Page basically said it in dismissing the charges against us. In the end these idiots cost the state thousands of dollars because the judge ordered the state to pay my daughter $400 a month for 3 years on top of all the money that had already been spent for the 2 years of foster care for her and her child. This while my other 3 children were still at home in our custody. Were not they in imminent danger as well? I don't get it. Oh well.REPORT COMMENTS

i am a mother of 2 at at age 13 my daughter and me had a verbal argument which escalated into her still defying me after 3 days( by defying I mean leaving the house and disappearing) when I finally found her and picked her up. yea I was mad ..in the mist of our arguing she screamed **** you to me. I hit her in the mouth. when i went to smack her in the car she turned her head and hit the window.being the smartass that she was when a bruise appeared from her pulling back she made a scene at school thinking she was gonna move in with her friend. DYFC was called by someone in the school.I was pretty much prosecuted from the get go. her story was word even though she was sitting there waiting to be sent to her Best friends house. I was not allowed near my then 1 yr old son and was made to go through counseling even after it was clear there was no danger. as an after effect. I was weened out of my job as a medical assistant. and I am now on unemployment. my children snuggle with me at least 2 nights a week as a single mother of 2 with no child support and always have. when i had to tell my daughter after 3 days of DYFC she couldn't sleep with me she was effected. my 3 yr old son now has separation anxiety. There are people who are in need of this service . and common sense needs to be applied in ALL cases . They wouldn't be so backed up if it was used.The women that showed up to my house could have assessed the problem and determined her services were not needed if for 5 min. me and my child were not separated like I was a beast! If my town police were not in my driveway like i was a felon.Huge waste of 6 months were a child who is dead could have been saved. I cuddle with my children like I always have.. except I have no job now cause of their interference. common sense would make this service better, with less dead children. My case has created a bigger problem just for one family, by the system not having common sense.REPORT COMMENTS

Dyfs has had a pending investigation against me and my wife since october, last week the case worker decided to finally decides to close it, and her supervisor decided, after 7 months of no issues, that the case needs to be opened. Dyfs doesn't do a damn thing useful, how many kids in dyfs custody have died due to their inadequices? They harass people the honest families fighting to survive, and leave the scumbag parents alone to beat, corrupt or murder their children. Someone needs to shut DYFS down. i am a husband with a disabled wife and a father to 3 kids 2 are also disabled, dyfs has come into our home verbally attacked my wife scaring the hell out of our children my autistic son hide from them and my little girl with adhd heard all te threats and burst into tears the moment they left and have shown total disregard for our family and our many obsticules. Nothing has been substantiated because there is nothing to substantiate, we are good parents that are ignored by these state agencies that are supposed to help and have been made to suffer because 3 members of my family of 5 are disabled. i cannt find anything on how to defend ourselves against there accusations and threats. I cannt even say the word dyfs in front of my little who has adhd she is so scared of them something must be done about them and there ability to file charges based on heresay alone it is not fair how they can force u to go through evaluation and drug tests based on nothing but heresay. My child got taken from me for willingly and redily going into the hospital on my own free will to get help from post pardom depression and self medicating with drugs. I was in desperate need of help and the dr at the hospital called Dyfs on me. Needless to say they took her from me. I've done everything Dyfs has asked of me and Completley turned my life around. My daughter was taken at 8 months old. She is now 2 and a half and I still don't have my custody back. I've completed all my services. Parenting classes, evaluations, outpatient drug therapy, phycologist, phyciatrist, co-parenting counseling. To this day I only have one overnight visit and 2 hourly visits a week with her. This system is criminal. My daughter needs her mommy. I've changed my life for her. Went to get the help. I'm a changed person today and did it to be the best mommy I could possibly be. And my daughter isn't even a part of my life. I need help from this. It's not right. Dyfs has taken my baby from me and seems they have no intention of giving her back. Claiming I have "mental illness" and "what if" one day I went "crazy" and something happened to her. Based on "what if's?!?!" ludicrous. I never hurt my child in my life. Ever.REPORT COMMENTS

I am dealing with a biased Dyfs agent. I spoke to another Dyfs agent in another county but she told me she had to remain ananomus as she was telling me in house information. She told me the Dyfs agent I'm dealing with had no right to be involved in my life as she brought up an old closed unfounded case from four years ago, she had no right to tell me I was a substance abuser, that I was never allowed to have a drink ever in my life or ever allowed to have cold medicine in my life. This Dyfs agent has aligned herself with my ex husband to the point she is calling me involving herself in visitation days that have nothing to do with Dyfs. A disgruntled daycare worker that never like me with held my son from me because I was sick and she said she smelled alcohol on me. I quickly called the police and two officers came to my house immediately, they both said I was fine, I was sick obviosly, but sober and I did they smelled no alcohol. The police report said unfounded and my sone was given to me. Four days later the Dyfs woman comes to my apartment when the children arent even here but with their father and starts in on my that I'm abusing alcohol. I was scared, but after talking to this other Dyfs agent who actually told me the TRUTH, I'm more scared. Dyfs is corrupt, like any goverment or corporation. This bad apple is a lonely chubby single woman who has fallen for my ex husband's good looks and is now defending him regarding legal matter's regarding our divorce settlement in the guise of Dyfs issues. I have no Dyfs case, but have to submit to a substance abuse evaluation in the same building she works in. I already made an appointment for an independent evaluation, but I don't want a biased evaluation from one of this Dyfs woman's co workers that may also be her friend and work in tandem with her. I'm an educated woman, but I just lost my job and can't afford a lawyer. I'm a scared, rightfully so, of the power Dyfs has over people. This Dyfs woman's ego is so large she said the two police officer's that said I was fine, totaly sober, could be wrong, I could have brushed my teeth and fooled them. I doubt officers with over twenty years experience on the force would be so easily fooled. Instead she believes the lies of a nasty dispositioned spinster who has been at odds with me for several years. Even the police said if a day care worker believes a parent is endangering their children, the police should be called immediately, which she did not. Dyfs did not take this into consideration, ignored the police report and the fact that I have not DUI, not arrests, no record or public distrubances, my children are always clean, get good grades, well adjusted (in the face of the mentally ill suicidal father) and social. Dyfs can save lives, no doubt, especially when the agents are happy well adjusted adults. But when you have spiteful lonely childless women dictating your future with your children, then something has to be done. I thinkREPORT COMMENTS
