My daughters where supposed to be returned home on Oct.29,2012. Due to hurricane Sandee the courts got all messed up. My lawyer said on Wed the 7 my children would be sent home we would not have to be seen in front of the judge he would just sign off because dyfs is recamending my children to be home with their father. My daughters have been with a foster parent for 2months to long. Dyfs is now telling my family our case must be seen in front of a judge. My daughts are being effected now also me and my family. My father and I are going to the congress today. Please someone help us to get our girls home where they belong. This effecting my 4 year old. She asked if me and her daddy saw the judge yet because she wantes to come home. She also asked me a few weeks ago durning a visit crying saying am I gonna have to have a new mommy. Dyfs say they are in best interest to help children and family's but in reality they are countinuing to tear ours apart. Please help change the system. Thank god I was strong enough to help myself get stronger but I feel bad for the family's who give up hope. I see why they give up now, it's been almost 6 months and still have not seen a professional to help with my drepression and aniexty. Please help the families fight against Dyfs. She's been clean almost a decade now yet because a social worker for her WIC informed DYFS of it they are doing everything in their limitless power to take her baby who was born perfectly healthy. DYFS took our child straight from the hospital, hired a quack to make sure they got the "evaluation" they needed to terminate our parental rights, and then abused our child so badly that the re-evaluation done later concluded that our child was too vulnerable to be reunited with us. Dyfs workers in Newark are evil they come out of character and twist your words. My baby fell and they investigated the my other children's school my doctor they could not find nothing bad. This social worker decided we were bad parents threatened to take my son if we did not sign to take parental classes. She came out of character saying this is personal insisted we quit our job and take care of the baby who will pay our rent. They did not care and said we can not change her to get over it she will be visiting us and without seeing a judge charged us with neglect cause we called her supervisor. Not only did I lose 1 week of work so did my husband we were forced to hire a lawyer cause of her threats. I even ran into a former friend who works for dyfs and the worker saw us talking and she took it personal cause she does not get along with the other worker and we ended paying the price. Not fair. long story short, i am about to be 17 on october 28th and my mother was falsely accused of something so i was take along with my tonger brother. i was told my mother was doing anything to get me back by the foster parents i was with who were pressuring me to get addopted. i told them i didnt want to get adoppted and that i wanted to go with my mother about a week after i was told by my dyfs worker that my mother never gave up. i am now going to a selter because the foster family who was pressuring me were alose verbally abusing me and now i have no where to stay. i feel like have nothing and that my life was deystroyed. dyfs, you ruined everything i ever had.REPORT COMMENTS

My one year old daughter was molested I reported it to PD in 2010 DYFS got involved and instead of looking at the overwhelming evidence I have regarding my childs they began disecting my life by sending me to therapist, i was a firefighter for forteen years who had no criminal record but DYFS till this day has destroyed my home. its the Destuction of Youth and Family Services. My newborn baby was taken from me by DYFS in '09. She was not neglected or abused. She died at 3 months while under DYFS supervision. I had a case with my older child who was removed because of domestic violence that was against me in my home, even though I was leaving the situation. The call was made by the paternal grandmother who lived downstairs from us and had a better standing in the community, and also more money than me, a stay-at- home mother trying to finish college. My older daughter was placed in her care. My newborn was removed because of the open case, though I had been engaged in service after unending service, which I had successfully completed. I had agreed to a stipulation at the recommendation of my public defender. I also expressed concerns about them using time against me, but she said that they couldn't do that, but they did. I had another child in '11 who was almost taken from me as well. I was able to get a "real" lawyer and also spoke to the senator to keep that from happening. He is healthy and happy. I am still fighting for my older daughter who was taken in '07, when she was 2. I would have thought that when my younger daughter died they would see the error in their ways, but I guess that sort of thing happens to them all the time so they know how to blame shift. They also used her death against me in court to prevent me from getting my older daughter back. I also tried to have her placed with my sister shortly before she died but they wouldn't do that. My sister petitioned the court for custody. She died only a few days before the hearing was held.REPORT COMMENTS

DYFS does more harm then good. They seem to destroy good families when they should really be focused on the real people that physically harm their children. So many people beat and abuse their children and are swept through the system.
