DYFS is a corrupt organization who tears innocent children away from their parents under false allegations. Do not trust them and if all possible seek independent council stay away from public defenders who are appointed to your case. DYFS uses scare tactics beware do not sign any documents that they try to force on you or trick you into signing by saying "sign this now it will be explained to you later". This happens in family visits when you are suppose to be spending time with your child. In court I was to testify in behalf of a friend whose only fault was that she was ill with Chronic Lyme Disease and the DYFS attorney made a motion for me to be thrown out of the courtroom. in 2007 DYFS place my fiance 2 kids with us, ever since then they come out 2-3 times a year for his ex calling with false claims. the kids are terrified of them. they go to their schools, harrass their docs and try their best to make us look like we dont take care of them. we are thankful that they have never been take from us, but the fear is always there everytime they come. we are sick of the fact they can show up over someone calling and not even leaving their name. something needs to be done, calls should be accepted from schools and doctors, people trained to see REAL ABUSE, not lies from a ****ed off ex, neighbor, ect.REPORT COMMENTS

Going through a custody battle with my ex-husband, because of him he has had them in and out of my house constantly for the last 4 months, now they want my daughter to seek psychological treatment becaue this is affecting her, NO DUH, this is affecting her, we were a nice happy peaceful family till they got involved. The caseworker, totally lied to the judge telling me one thing and writing something completely different in her report to the courts, they embarassed my daughter going to her school now she has all the teachers and counselors looking at her. I need this to end, these people think they are the all mighty and rule families. I know they all have someone in their back pocket and it sure isn't the parents that love and care for their children. Why don't they concentrate on the kids next door that all sleep in 1 room with their grandparents on the floor, 5 pitbull dogs running and shitting around the house, the kids sleep all day and are up all night wreaking havoc, worry about them and not what the ex wives or ex husbands are saying just to get revenge or get custody of their children to get out of having to pay you child support.REPORT COMMENTS

Hi my name is Tara, I am a mother with Cerebral Palsy thats try to get my voice heard. Even though i have a disability i'd never let it get in the way of me living a stable independent life since the age of 16 im now 38. After i gave birth to both of my boys. They never left the hospital with me. I have no history of drug or alcohol abuse. And never been involved in any type of legal activity. DYFS took my boys just because i have a disability. I was told that i can be a danger to them. DYFS never gave me a chance to prove my ability to care for my boys. Im being punished for having a disabilty. My rights was termined and my sons are now adopted. I feel discrimated against and i feel my rights was violated to the fullest. DYFS had no grounds for their actions. I no longer see my boys, and i wasnt even given visitations. I was treated wrongfully. I want justice. It hurts not to be there for my boys to watch them grow. Hello, My name is Amanda. I am 20 years old and am in recovery. I have been battling a war against Heroin for 9 years. My mother is an addict as well. I started using with her. When I found out I was pregnant I got on the Methadone program. It was my only option, other than to keep using. I was 21 weeks when I got on the program. I was homeless in Camden, living in a tent at the time. The "Mobile Unit"/ MATI helped me get housing. Within 2 weeks I had an apartment. From that moment on I got clean and stayed cleanthe rest of my pregnancy. My daughter was born addicted to Methadone. She was in the NICU at Cooper hospital for 3 weeks. She came right home with me. DYFS and the social worker at the hospital chose not to open a case or even an investigation because I had been clean for 2 months when she was born. My little angel, Savannah Anne, made me the happiest woman in the world. I felt as though I was born for this, I was born for my daughter, to love her and care for her unconditionally. She saved my life. She was my saviour. The day she was born I made a promise to her that I would NEVER be like my mother! He father was and still is not involved at all. He wouldn't know her if he walked past her on the street. She is now almost 7 months old. I had about 9 months clean (on the methadone clinic) when I got termin ated from the program for an issue with one of male staff there. He was harassing me everyday, along with a bunch of other females. We've all written letters to Trenton, where the head office is and reported him. Our case workers from our housing program, for those of us on it, have also filed reports. I just recently found out I am 15 weeks pregnant again. It is very dangerous for anybody to just cold turkey stop Methadone, ecspecially on 100 + milligrams, but it is EXTREMELY dangerous and illegal for a clinic to terminate a pregnant woman and stop medicating them. I was going to the hospital trying to get medicated there, I also made a appointment with my Rhuematologist to try to get my methadone through him. Everything I tried either failed or only worked a few times. After that I started buying Methadone off the street to avoid using heroin. One day I couldn't even find Methadone, my brother and my niece came and picked up my daughter for the day. When she left I was so sick, I could barely function. I ended up using that day. It was a Saturday. I felt so guilty and ashamed of myself. It did NOT get me high but it took the edge off of the withdraw a little bit. My daughter came home around 9 pm that night and I cried myself to sleep I felt so guilty when i looked at her. Monday I went to the clinic in tears begging them to let me back on because I was terrified of using again. I was then informed that it was protocol for them to call DYFS because I had gotten thrown off the clinic. They did however let me back on the clinic that day because I had brought them proof of pregnancy. That night DYFS was at my house. They wouldn't give mREPORT COMMENTS

I had DYFS come to my home--the same day I put in a complainst against THEIR DYFS UNIT--that Investigates School Abuse--My son was abused by his Teacher--and the DYFS worker did not interview my child; only went on what the Superientendent said--I even went ti the PD--but THEY DID NOTHING either. Ths exact day--that I reported the DYFS worker for NOT doing her job---WOW--DYFS showed up at my door!!! What a coincidence?? It took me 10 months to get them off my back--I even demanded they take me to Court to Prove it---and the DYFS worker changed my own childrens' medical records, and school records--THANK GOD--I had all original paper work. DYFS IS A CORRUPT AGENCY AND SO ARE THE DEPUTY ATTORNEY GENERALS IN NJ!!! The Judges are all in on it, too!! Supporting the Corrupt and lies in paperwrok submitted by Deputy Attorney Generals!! I have ALL proof that the Deputy Attorney General Submitted false paperwork in Superior Court. It's all an inter-connected SCAM of our TAX DOLLARS. The DYFS caseworkers don't even know the Constitutional RIGHTS----YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LET DYFS IN YOUR HOME---make them get a search warrant. Do not sign any consent papers for medical records---THEY NEED TO PROVE BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT---Do not allow them to speak privately with your children--Once again make them Prove it with a search warrant. THEY HAVE NO RIGHT TO VIOLATE YOUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS!!! Make them get a Judge to enforce it. They cannot arrest you; they need a warrant!!!! I strongly agree that something MUST be done about this. I just had a baby girl my first child a month ago and DYFS took her out of my arms because of the hospital making me seem like I was a bad parent. I always wished to become a mother and God finally blessed me with a little girl and beings that the hospital called DYFS behind my back my daughter hasnt been with me. I got discharged from the hospital and DYFS took my daughter. Now they are telling me I need to get evaluated to prove that i am capable of caring for my child. It kills me everyday because my daughter is not with me at this point. I cant have her for the holidays alone i Have to be supervised. I showed no signs of neglect or abuse towards my child. I am against abuse and neglect towards people and animals I am a christian and I pray to god that i can have her returned ASAPREPORT COMMENTS

Concerns of abuse arose after a trip my family and I had taken to A mountain it?s a mountain here in Tucson AZ my husband and older daughter were posing for a photo when she slipped off the rock and badly bruised and scraped the back of her legs. we didn?t see any marks at first but the next day she had been hit with a soccer ball in the same spot it had hurt her so she went to the school nurse that when we found out about the bruising and scrapes. The nurse called cps and they arrived at my house at 11:30 at night and didn?t leave until 1:00 in the morning they told us that there would be a follow up investigation. We were going to keep our kids from school because they were up so late but they wanted to go so we sent them. Another cps agent went to their school and questioned them I went to go pick up my kids from school and the teachers aid in a concern matter stated she didn?t call you some lady signed your children out. My heart feel to the floor. I immediately got on the phone and called the police and filed a kidnapping report. The police arrived at my house and was there for about 30 min when at that time I was informed that cps had taken custody of my children and that they were going to verify this information before they leave my home. About 20 min later I received a phone call from the cps worker. Infuriated I started to yell at her asking her if she knew how to do her job or not and demanding to know why she did not follow protocol when removing my children. FYI by law they have to immediately inform you by verbal and written notice of removal and I did not receive any notice from cps I found out by the police. So she informs me that my daughter said her daddy beat her with a belt why would she change her story unless she was provoked to do so. And while talking to the cps worker she states that if I had any friends or family that would take the kids have them call her so while I was on the phone with her my husband was on the phone with his brother and sister in law giving them the information I had also verified that the cps worker was going to be in the office for a couple of hrs and that they would be able to get a hold of her. We all hung up at the same time and my brother in law started calling her and was not able to get a hold of her at all and same with us but one other time when we gave her there number for her to call them. She only called once that night and didn?t leave a message. So all day Saturday my husband and I called every 30 min trying to get a hold of this woman nothing then sun again nothing but my daughters cousin called at 9:30 at night on Sunday and the cps worker returned her call she disclosed a lot of information to the cousin were I am grateful she did but she was not suppose to. Well some of the information that she disclosed was that my daughter that mad the accusation is now recanting on the storey of her daddy beating her and that she is again saying that she feel at A mountain.
