father who is not behind in child support but a ex wife falsely reported me to child support agency in florida.She doesnt want to work ,leaving with her man who actualy his son hurt my daughter ..etch... we also suspecting her collect full welfare ,knwing she recieves 1350 child support every month, retirement of 800 and she has a bussiness and her man has a bussiness plus children doesnt rsaly stay with hef full time,she claim she loves my children and claim shes a victim at all time but seems likes she gets away with any crime !!! and also her mother tried to convince my new wife to transfer money on thier account because kids are hungry and asked to transfer 1350 on her account!!!!! playing victim will not end unless officials will put an end to a fraud people! -

Im signing this because I had a little boy when I was about 17 or 18 years old. And its very unfair that? Not saying I'm not the biological father buti was living out of state the time the mother was pregnant with him and i wasn't able to make it to see him born didnt even sign the birthcertificate nor took an DNA or never appered to court and I was placed on child support as soon as he was born. I'm now 23 going on 24 in a couple of months and he's five going on six October this year. And i talk to him everyday I get a chance and was put on child support at a very young age which things started to go down hill for me at a young age before my life even began. Its hard forme to take care of myself at times because I barely want to work because of how high my remaining child support cost is which is about 20,000 or more. And money is being taken from my payroll and me and the mother have a good relationship. I've never been able to file taxes when I did about five years ago they were taken from me. But to save broadcasting my life story this is making my life miserable and very hard and ruining my credit alot because of it. #VERY #UNFAIRREPORT COMMENTS

I'm 48 years old and all my kids are grown with good jobs and kids of their own..and I'm disabled but I'm still ordered to pay arrears..I'm barely surviving on my SSDI check..They refuse to forgive the arrears even after my kids and their mom went to court to say they didn't need it..something has to be done!!REPORT COMMENTS

I'm a 28 year old father that has a 8 year old son. I'll admit I lived life kinda immaturely when I was younger. I don't make as good money like I read I. Some of the posts above. Most men like myself want to better them selves so they can give their kids the best. 1300 dollars I bring home bi weekly. 400 dollars goes to my son mother immediately. So now I'm Down to 900 but don't forget uncle Sam. .. cause hes gonna take an additional 260 bring my 1300 check to 640 every weeks. I lose half of my money before I even get my check. my sons mother has her jncome.. her boyfriends income and my income as well. ..how do they expect me to make when they take everything..REPORT COMMENTS

The way child support enforcement is done is stupid. They take a license to drive and work away if you get behind and theres really no way to get the office to calculate what was paid right. mine goes from Florida to Tennessee and it wasnt filed in the correct court to begin with in Tennessee back in 1996. They filed in state court and not interstate and they refused to move it. I was payin by court order insurance that was with my employer because it is tennessee law even though it didnt go to florida. $500 a month was paid for insurance my son couldnt even use3 just because it was tennessee law. I also had to pay insurance down in Florida for him which was only 26 dollars a month. I also had to pay 400 a month in support . They added a bunch to it in the beginning and tabulated a total of 38,000 back support. Now im 46 and have a heart that is only pumping 15%, COPD thats lowering my oxygen and Type 1 Diabetes that ive had for 40 years. I lost my job last year because of the health issues and applied for disability. That took 7 months to finally get and they started paying the 400. all in all last year I was only behind 203 dollars. But because Florida didnt report the tax refund to Tennessee they started a court case, they have done this several times over the years and every time the judge ask why did you continue the case when you found out he had paid them. Each time they act stupid and say i dont know and each time ive had to pay the court cost. At this point I really dont care what happens cause jail is starting to look good this last case I called them and told them i was in the hospital and asked to dismiss since they saw i had paid it but they didnt. Now I have a failure to appear. These laws are hideous miscarriges of justice when you are sick and cant work and they still arrest you for their errors. Change needs to be done. The whole thing needs a panel that can look at abuses in each state. Most of us that are paying at some point or another get made out to be a deadbeat dad just to pad the statistics. Ive always thought solidarity like they did in Poland in the 80's is needed. One day all 30 million child support paying parents quit their job. the cost to incarcerate all of them who are shouting we need change would be 4 trillion dollars as well lost taxes of 1 trillion and welfare to help the family no longer getting child support 3 trillion. In 1 year you could basically bankrupt the government and they would begin to realize that they need to talk to us and make changes in the system.REPORT COMMENTS

Child support is tantamount to slavery. You are forced to purchase your freedom, and if you pay enough, the court might permit you to see your children......maybe. If you don't pay enough, they punish you by removing your license, seizing your passport, and eventually locking you up in prison, regardless of your circumstances. This is no different than how cartels and human smugglers operate. Human smugglers force people to work for them by taking away their identification and passport, then they threaten to punish that person if they don't generate enough money for the cartel....does this sound familiar? It should, because that is exactly what the Parent Enslavement System (Child Support) does. It is ironic that our country chastises others for doing the same thing to their citizens, criticizing them for operating debtors prisons. In the US, our elected officials label it as "human rights violations" when other countries do it, but they label it as simply "enforcing child support laws" when they do the exact same thing. Child support generates the most revenue for all 50 states, it is a business, plain and simple. If courts really cared about families, they wouldn't work so diligently to tear these families apart for a profit. They will lie and say "this is all about the children". Well, if that were true, then why would the court allow a mother who is in and out of jail and rehab to maintain control of children, while denying these children to live with the hardworking father when he fights for custody? We have to ask ourselves, "do we really need the government to micro-manage our relationships?" The government claims that you do not have a legal right to see your children, it is a privilege instead, that is why they don't enforce visitation....there is no money to be made by enforcing it. A lot of children cry themselves to sleep at night because mom won't let dad see them, and the court couldn't care less....so much for it being about the children, right? The system is gonna always be Un fair to me because I pay out of pocket for my kids on a daily to get them what they need and still pay child support lost my job and they still tax me back pay took money out of my account with no indication that they were and it was my rent money my two youngest kids live with me and there mom and I still got to pay because this state says every father has to pay back what they get from the state it's wrong all mom's should be working and if the moms are working they shouldn't get nothing from the state or child support if the fathers are working and support there kids even they don't live or with the moms they shouldn't pay but the states gives everything to women but don't recognize the men at all that don't ask hey do you take care of your kids do you come out of pocket with your own money to provide for them because that's all I do I refuse to let child support dictate to how I live when I already do it willingly the laws need to be changed and see the men just the same as women or better yet they want to charge every father because the women use the state charge the women to just as equallyREPORT COMMENTS

To whom it may concern, I am Jim Williams, father of two daughters who deserve better than what they have been given by their mother and the situation they have been forced into by the system. Time is running out for both them and I, as I have a pending court date for child support. At issue is the fact that I have ALWAYS supported my daughters, whether court ordered or not. This has never been in question by my daughters or anyone who knows them or me. I have them at my home several days per week, usually two full days and two partial days. Often, though, it is more. During the summer months and school vacations, they are often picked up by me from their mother?s residence the afternoon school lets out and dropped back off at their mother?s the evening before classes resume. In spite of paying child support for eight years, I also provided the things child support should have provided for my daughters, both at my own home and for them when at their mother's. Clothing, food, school supplies, birthday and Christmas presents, everything. Meanwhile, my child support dollars went, instead, to buy cell phones, video games, alcohol , tobacco and frequent visits to night clubs or bars for Mrs. Kovach. She obviously views it as my duty to support her, rather than our daughters. She has even gone so far as to nearly demand that I purchase beer for her and her live-in boyfriend on my way to drop the girls off. No mention, however, of anything Jocelynn or Kayleigh might need. Just beer for her and the boyfriend. Despite this, upon being laid off last year, I went to the Child Support Agency office in Ravenna where I was told that paying half per month would keep me above board until I could get back on my feet. This, of course, was false and the employee who told me this has denied it since. My driver's license has been suspended, further inhibiting my ability to earn income to replace that lost last year. Again, going to the Child Support Agency, I sought to have my payments reduced. Please keep in mind that I was materially supporting my daughters, as well as paying child support to their mother. The financial burden was severe and I sought to ease it while maintaining my support of them. Instead, my payment amount was increased to the agency ?feeling? that I was capable of making more money than I currently am. It is not at all comforting to know that governmental offices are run by ?feeling?. During this time I have been earning money repairing vintage and high-end audio equipment. This has been sufficient to support myself and daughters. It is not enough, however, to support my daughters twice. Once by child support and again directly when the money is spent on other things by their mother. While the pressing issue seems to be one of money and child support, that is merely a symptom of being taken to task by the legal system. I was never served court papers. The courts take more money then I ever made for child support. The Child support offices in California and Colorado never answers their phone. Child support started in California, then my ex moved to Colorado. Now I owe over 100k in back child support combined for 2 kids that I don't even know is mine. Back child support is automatically taken from my paychecks. Soon I'll be homeless because this caused me to be back on rent. How am I supposed to survive?REPORT COMMENTS

Not everything he buys or does for his children should have to be documented by the state. His children's mother collects food stamps, says the children has all these problems, collects $4000 a month, much more then he does, is on HUD, able-bodied with a vehicle, but not required to work? I don't understand how this makes sense? Why are women over populating the world with children taught from birth to abuse the government? Why just because you can spread your legs have 5 kids by 5 different men are you not required to contribute to society after you children are all attending school or graduated, or in her case dropped out? My husband pays over 1500 a month in child support to two mothers. He never gets to see them, they moved them out of state without permission and then push to get more money and still want us to biy their school clothes and other things. We have two children in our home to support but he doesnt get credit for them. They base his child suppport on his gross pay not what he sees after the insurance and taxes are taken out. We barely get by sometimes i go weeks without groceries because they would take his whole check fpr child support what happened to they could only take a percentage...child support offices will enforce orders to pay but wont enforce visitations. Things need to change make these women work instead of living off child support. The income guidelines for calculating child support need to be adjusted. It is unfair and unjust that a father has to pay over $600/month for one child in addition to providing health insurance simply because the mother of the child chooses to work at a lower income job. The system in Oklahoma does not take in to account that the father may have other children in his home that he also has to provide support for. When so much support has to be paid to a mother for a child that lives out of the home, it makes it difficult to provide for that same child when they are there for the visitation periods. This puts the father in a position that he has to work two jobs in order to support the family he has at home sufficiently; but then that income also becomes subject of the child support calculations. It should not be allowed that a mother can raise the child support every year just because. Child support should only be recalculated if there is a financial need. There should also be consideration for those situations where a child was conceived and born without the consent of the father. For example: One night stands; If the two parties involved discussed the lack of desire to have a child; used protection; and that protection failed; the father should have a choice on the outcome just as much as the mother does since "it takes two". If the mother chooses to keep the baby while knowing that the father did not want and never wanted to have a baby, why should he be forced to be financially responsible when he had no choice on becoming a father?REPORT COMMENTS
