My oldest daughter (22) has been alienated from me for 10 years. My youngest daughter (18) has been for 3 years. Two court psychologists, in Michigan, determined that she was "brain-washing"/alienating my daughters from me. They both eve put it in writing. However, it was recommended that I just write my daughters "farewell" letters, and leave them to figure things out, since there is no law, in Michigan, that recognizes Parental Alienation Syndrome. My 2 oldest children have been alienated from me and my ex-wife would have already alienated the younger 2 if I did not have custody of them. She is relentless and may succeed on the other 2 as well in time, but I am fighting it with everything I can. I do not believe a parent has any right to interfere with the childrens' relationship with the other parent, eventually rendering them childless. I think this act should be a crime just like kidnapping.REPORT COMMENTS

My son was alienated from me for the past four years. I always had hope that we could someday work through the alienation, become reunited and have a loving relationship again. Less than two months ago my son was killed in an auto accident at the age of 18. There is no longer hope, only anguish over the love that was stolen from us. Parental alienation is real, horrible, and ruins lives. Stop this heartbreak before it damages more children, families, and the fabric of our society.REPORT COMMENTS
