Please make sure that both parents have equal rights in the raising and emotional well being of their children, except when it is proven that one parent is harming a child. One parent who poison's a child against another unnecessarily should be considered abuse. When this is done in the adult world, it is called "defamation of character," and is punishable. Judges at least in Alabama always think the Mother is the best choice to be the parent. That is especially true with Judge Sonny Ferguson. Judges need to stop being sexist and look at the facts and let go of there stupid belief it is always best for the mother to have the children. My ex-wife in 5 years has had 4 live in boyfriends and has constantly talked bad about me including allowing her 4 boyfriends to do the same. She has gotten one of my 4 children that is the easiest to manipulate and really the one most damaged from our divorce to not wanting to see me...each time it is my weekend, she always finds a spend a night party for her to go too. Recently my ex wife has told me she was not going to allow me to see the other children if I don't agree to pay for her choice of dentist for ortho. Mine will do it for $2000, her choice wants to charge me over $5,000. I should be able to go and get custody easily for these kids but Judge Ferguson in Alabama makes it so difficult and a racket for he and his lawyer buddies, it is almost impossible to do anything about it.REPORT COMMENTS

It is unbearing to see innocent children go through this type of abuse. Judges need to start taking off their blind folds to this type of behavior that exists. Mother's should be held accountable to such actions and father's should be heard in the courts.
