Please send me a letter on the history of the Chinook Indian Nation by Stanley Speaks. Being a member of the Chinook Indian Nation I have a right to read this information. How dare the government just take away what is rightfully ours? Almost everyday I see things that show our tribe existed in history....for example..Chinook Salmon, Chinook Helicopter, Chinook Pass, and Chinook Park in Ocean Shores near my house...and TONS more. I married into the Chinook Family 48 years ago, I have two Chinook sons and seven Chinook Grandchildren. They know who they are and thier history. It is time for the US to Right the Wrong. The US marches into countries all over the world to right wrongs done by other governments, and yet they let the wrongs done to the Chinook go on and on. Wake up and do what should have been done when you came to their land and took what was theirs. Restore their rights now!REPORT COMMENTS
