Many Chinook Tribal members have been involved in the quest for Recognition of the Chinook Indian Tribe for several generations. The Chinook Indians have never disappeared, we have always been here in our native lands with Tribal government, cultural activities, and using our native WaWa language. I, as a current Tribal Council Member, will continue that quest for Tribal Recognition in honor of all our ancestors who have passed. It is time for the Federal Government to recognize that we are still here.REPORT COMMENTS
