I recently became a young widow with when my husband was killed in a tragic accident. I am left with a 5 year old and a baby due in 4 1/2 weeks and completely understand. Unless you have gone through such a ordeal will you understand all the paperwork and things that you need to do when a spouse passes on. It is overwhelming what you need to do. (pension plans, beneficary docs., will, lawyers, selling cars, title changes, 401 (k) plans and that isn't including social security, writing hundreds of thank you cards, selling assets). I completely agree that a company should give you time to sort all this out, time to grieve. You can't focus on things when your life took a 360.REPORT COMMENTS
