We need to end the Electoral College Vote, in the US, who ever is running for office within there State, for local, county, State or Federal which includes U.S. President, who gets the most votes WINS the Election, It is the only far way to vote weather it is City, County, State, or Federal, majority of the vote wins, only have to have a rerun if there is a tie.REPORT COMMENTS

We have the technology to count every vote. This "institution of electoral college" was put into place in the 18th century. It was always intended to usurp the will of the people. It needs to go!REPORT COMMENTS

Twice in my lifetime the Electoral College has robbed my country of the president the majority of people voted for -- Gore (2000) and Hillary (2016). Why is it that we still have it and why do many still defend it when clearly the Electoral College over-represents the vote of rural populations, or weights their votes, to count more than urban people's votes? Isn't this a form of discrimination? It sounds just like the a white people's version of Voting Rights Act and Affirmative Action, which Republicans hated and have worked to dismantle since they became law. I guess Republicans favor discrimination as long as it benefits them.REPORT COMMENTS

Some people in the US shouldent have a vote worth 3 times as much as other people's anyone who says otherwise is either a republican or a full blown idiot. Actually they are one and the same. We need to get rid of the electoral college or at least change it so big states can have electoral votes proportionate to their populations.REPORT COMMENTS

It is time to abolish the electoral college or pass legislation that all electoral college votes are cast for the winner of the popular vote. We cannot have a president who was not selected by the majority of voters. The system is antiquated and useless in modern day with mass communication and information about candidates available. It is way past time for the majority vote to select the president.REPORT COMMENTS
