Do something brave for once! Reform the VA without hurting Vets. The Ed benefits should pay for med school, law school, and flight school! If the vets have what it takes to put their life on the line, and then have what it takes to earn a degree, support them.

This USA has a critical shortage of pilots. Ask any regional airline or helicopter service provider. VA flight benefits are critical for meeting this demand with extemely capable and deserving veterans.

I'm a veteran using my GI Bill to pursue my pilot certifications. If this Bill passes, you will have successfully ruined my family's future.

How could we seriously consider removing these benefits of being a service member to our country. Without adequate reason to risk losing your life would you seriously sign up? Patriotism alone won't fill the ranks without a draft. These wonderful people have done for our country what most wouldn't and deserve our support during and after their time in the military. Besides what's wrong with the government investing in its population? After 10 years these skilled pilots will pay enough in taxes from better wages to repay the investment the tax dollar has put in then.

This bill is unjust towards our veterans who worked hard for their benefits. While there have been schools who have abused the privilege, there are other ways of regulating flight funds instead of simply removing them. The current policy of 85/15 is a good policy, and paying FAA minimums +20% is a great model. Unnecessary programs like turbine transitions should be cut because they're abused. But don't take this away from veterans. It's good for us and good for the economy to put this into motivated people who are trying to contribute.

Vets deserve their benefits. This is a drop of water in a very large bucket.

This will hurt vets currently in college. It will hurt vets who have jobs at colleges who are flight instructors. It will hurt vets who plan to go to college. Vets who graduate from these programs get good paying jobs in a great career field.
