I was given Lupron injections for a period of a year to treat pain that I was having (ovaries). I was told if this medication stopped the pain then the doctor knew it would be my ovaries and they would have to be removed. Since I took this medication. I have now been pulled out of work, lost my job due to medical conditions that cant be explained. I have been dealing with issues such as Short term memory loss, pain in my joints, gastro issues, my fingers are curling up and cant be pulled apart with severe pain , weight gain, and they have put me on medication for depression and anxiety. These are only to name a few of the symptoms that I am dealing with.REPORT COMMENTS

Please take this drug off the market, I am suffering because my doctor acted like it was a miracle without explaining the long time of horrible side affects and pain I am going through because of it. I was not aware there were so many complaints out there about Lupron. If I knew I would have those 2 shots. So far my side effects have been 1 joint pain on my fingers, and just achy body. Please take this off the market! I took the one month injection in December and then a three month injection in February. Both times I have had the injection, I have had SEVERE pain and bleeding as well as memory loss! This is the worst medicine. I was taking it for Endometriosis and it only seemed to make me have MORE periods and MORE pain rather than stopping or lessening any of it!REPORT COMMENTS

I was given Lupron under full sedation in the OR. There was NO PRIOR CONSENT OR KNOWLEDGE OF THE SURGEON'S INTENTIONS. I obtained the "PDR" information which came with the medication. There had been NO HUMAN TRIALS!REPORT COMMENTS

I just had this shot In December and am having awful eye problems, bones hurt, cannot sleep, sweating like crazy. My dr acted like this shot was so normal. I have a feeling things will only get worse from this point on and I am also still in pain from endo, and he will not give anything for pain saying this shot should have worked. I am stunned speechless. When I took Lupron, pharmacies weren't even telling you side effects at the time, just doesn't seem fair. My immune system is shot, I'm sick all the time, fighting for disability for Fibromyalgia, Migraines and have almost every single side effect this drug can have. Outrageous!!!REPORT COMMENTS

My hot flashes are unbearable, my back and neck pain is horrible, No energy tires all the time yet I can not sleep if I do its for an hour or so, Migranes and the worst of it is that the Endometriosis did not stop the symptoms got worse! all these symtoms are long after I stopped allowing them to give this to me its been about 2 years.there have been so many side affects that I beleive will last a lifetime for a medication that is used to put women into menopause in order to diagnose and treat my disease, then used for cancer patients, and is entirely to costly and ineffective and very dangerous, Dont know if it has any affects that are truely beneficial.REPORT COMMENTS

I found out a few months ago that I have prostate cancer ( stage 3 or 4 ) already outside of the prostate. I starting taking Lupron ( first shot) the first part of Dec. and it was not to bad ( Side Effects ) Took a 3 month shot 1st of Jan. and since then things has really went down hill. terrible joint pain, Very bad back pain and my energy level is gone,Can't sleep , hot flashes , Not sure whats coming next.
