My 1st experience with Lupron was in 2005. My body has never been the same since. Since then I have had a total hysterectomy (at age 28), struggled with major anxiety and depression, unmanagable joint pain (that doctors are not able to medically find any other reason for my signifcant joint pain) also ended up with another disease called Adenomyosis (usually found in women AFTER menopause) I did NOT have this disease before starting Lupron, but it magically appeared about 1-2 years after my injection. I could go on and on about the absolute horrors of Lupron. I was not told any of the side effects. Unfortunetely I was 22 at the time and simply believed my doctor when I was told there were really no other options. I know some have relief w/no side effects and thats great. But for some of us, this medication practically ruins lives.

Doctor wanted me to take this drug to try to calm down my ovary for a month...I only have a trace of endometriosis but that is not my problem. The problem I have is that my left ovary and tube got stuck to my colon so I will be needing surgery to fix this problem. So I decided to check on Lupron injection, I was horrified to see lots of side effects. I been thru enough in my life that I am SO glad I came across the website. I know I saved myself but feel for everyone that suffered from this injection. I sure hope that the FDA listens and pull this off the market. I once suffered terrible reactions from steroids injection, never ever again will I do that. I tell friends and family please to do all your research before you take any new drug. Please educate yourselves, you are in control of your body, if doctors don't want to listen to you, please find a doctor that will!

I am 42 years old had taken Lupron Depo for Endo a few years before a complete hysterectomy in 2007. Since then I have degenerative disc disease and have had neck surgery fusion at c5 & c6 with plate and donor bone. I have pain throughout my body and low vitamin d3 and low white blood count. My doctors also diagnosed my with sjogrens disease with another autoimmune disease causing my pancreas and obstruction of my pancreatic bile ducts and also had my gallbladder removed in 2008 after neck surgery. All I know is that I have been sick ever since I had my 6 months of Lupron.

As a young woman of 24 suffering with Endometriosis I beg that Lupron be banned. It is a very harmful drug that causes more harm than good and only adds to the pain of women already suffering. More Doctors need to educate and be educated on conditions and diseases relating to women's health so that women like me can be provided with helpful and safe treatment options and information. I urge you to listen to the women of America and make the medical field a safer place for our health and treatment, that we may not be led astray naively to treatment options that are so very damaging and only further contribute to our poor quality of life struggling with disease. Thank you.

As a young woman suffering with endometriosis I know how damaging this drug can be. Other options should be offered to women instead of a district ice drug that causes more problems and more pain.

If we knew this medication would change a life the way it did, it would've been taken.

First, I am sorry for all those affected by this drug. I am thankful for coming across this petition in my research on taking Lupron and I will NOT be taking this drug. It is time to put the safety of our people first and not profit.

Took 6 shots of 3.75 Lupron in 1991 at 21 years old. My medical issues are extensive for being 42 years old there is no other reason for all of these issues clashing in my body at 42 years old. No one else in my family has all of these issues. Meniere?s disease issues started hours after 1st shot; I had surgery before I finished Lupron. Endo issues never went away and only get better after a hysterectomy in 2010. Hypo Thyroidism, Goiter, Adrenal issues, 3 herniated disks, Hysterectomy, Fibromyalgia, Myofascial Inflammation, Arthritis throughout my body. There is more but I wanted to keep this short, to the point and give you an idea of just a few of the issues that I have in common with all of the other suffering people that have taken Lupron. I firmly believe my Dr has lied to myself and plenty of people throughout the past 20 years. The question I have is has this drug ever helped anyone? Why with all of the evidence has the FDA allowed this and many other drugs harming people been allowed to stay on the market? I would be happy for questions or comments if needed. I went from being a healthy teenager with Endometriosis to someone struggling to get out of bed each and every day from what this drug did to my body. It's been over 12 years since my first injection. This poison needs to be taken off the market!

I took depo lupron 9 years ago to treat endometriosis that was causing infertility. I immediately got pregnant after the last of 6 injections in my cycle. I was told that the only side effects that I should expect were menapausal type symptoms and that they would go away quickly. Near the end of my 2nd trimester I was diagnosed with transient osteoporosis. It was by far the most painful thing I have ever gone thru. I was told to move as little as possible for fear that I might break my bones. I sat in a mechanically operated chair for the remainder of the pregnancy. After delivery, I was given a drug used for bone cancer treatment intraveneously for 4 weeks. I also went through rigourous physical therapy for 5 months. All of things were necessary to return my bone strength to that of a 35 year old woman. I continue to have problems with my bones to this day. I have had many stress fractures in my feet. I have had 2 foot surgeries. I also have thyroid disease, depression, anxiety and inflammatory osteoarthritis. I am 100% convinced that these problems were and are directly related to depo lupron.

I believe that this drug caused my fibromyalgia and the joint pain and osteoarthritis that never went away after using Lupron for endometriosis.

This may be an effective drug for prostate cancer, but it's side effects are truly terrible.
