I was diagnosed with Precocious Puberty at 2 years old. I spent 12 years getting Lupron shots every single month, stopping when I was 14. I am 23 now. I am battling severe depression and anxiety. I've been searching for a reason why all this is happening to me. I think I found it now.

I took lupron subcutaneously for one cycle of IVF. I was doing this because of male factor infertility and have no hormone disorder or other fertility issue. During that time I had extremely low blood pressure accompanied by collapsing no matter how much fluid or salt I would intake. After I stopped the Lupron injections extreme weakness continued until I could not walk safely without guidance from another person. One point my husband called 911 because my breathing had slowed (was often stopping altogether) and then I had extreme heart pain with convulsion and palpatations. EMTs assessed me from my bed for cardiac arrest with an EKG and transported me to the ER. They concluded it was from the low blood pressure but declared my condition stable. It has been about a year since I have been off the Lupron. I now have a hormonal sensitivity and whenever my progesterone/estrodiol drops I tend to have collapsing spells despite my blood pressure now being stable. An estrodiol patch helps when hormones are at their lowest. The transition as hormones rise and become higher then average also causes me collapsing, this I've yet to find a solution for. 12 doctors in the Boston area have yet to find a disorder that this problem fits with and considering the fact that estrodiol is tampered with in Lupron usage I would not be surprised if this medication had something to do with this problem. I've had a year of regular collapsing spells since that cycle I tried Lupron. I was fired by my last employer after collapsing after work one day. Thankfully my current employer is more respectful of my health condition. The doctor who prescribed Lupron to me at MGH's fertility clinic is completely unapologetic and more then willing to use it again in another fertility cycle with me despite the fact that my family doctor thinks it is unsafe for me. MGH does not use a Lupron alternative in many of it's fertility cycles it is required as part of their protocol. My husband and I are now working with a different fertility clinic. I don't understand the attachment some doctors have when it comes to prescribing Lupron. I don't understand why any doctors think this is safe.

Hello, I am 34 years old. I was diagnosed with endometriosis at 24. I went through two courses of monthly lupron injections for six months at ages 24 and 26. I still feel I have not been the same since. I wish I knew more about this drug before using it. The first course helped with the endo with horrible side effects. I basically went through menopause at 24 and then again at 26. I feel I have not been the same since. I have many chronic issues both physiological and psychological. I can't say for sure but I do feel in my gut that the lupron treatments had terrible long term side effects for me.

Side effects are terrible. Two years after my last shot I'm experiencing anxiety, heart palpatations, and short term memory loss.

The second and last shot that I had was in August 2015. I've had all of the symptoms...but the worst is this crippling joint pain that has not subsided. I am doing everything that I can to save my joints and calm the total body inflammation down...I trusted my doctor. This drug is poison. But I will win because I'm going to save my life, reverse the damages and help as much as I can to get this drug off the market for good!

I'm very sad reading all the painful comments and experiences with this poison. I'm on luprolide acetate 10 units injection every day as part of my IVF treatment, I'm feeling all of these side effects, it is incredible how depressed I'm , crying all the time, my joints hurt so much and the pain all over my body is unbearable, migraines have got worse than ever , no pain medication or migraine medication works to easy my pain. I only hope that all this is worthy and I could get pregnant. Because the hell I've been going through hasnt been easy, I feel comfort reading on the Internet at least knowing that I'm not the only one suffering like this. My partner has not clue the way I feel. And just sees me and says are you feeling bad again? (sarcastically ) Like if I'm just pretending I have pain. If I could go back and make a choice I Would NEVER put myself on this treatment. STOP THE POISONING AND SILENT KILLER LUPROLIDE
