My wife immediately changed after her first Lupron shot. Weird/aggressive mood swings, talking in her sleep (with her eyes open), very cold/isolated. Her Dr. perscribed Lupron for endometriosis. I was expecting a few changes...sleep issues, hot flashes, etc. But I never thought she would leave and file for divorce. Our divorce is almost final and she has completely changed. I blame Lupron for my divorce. If she was going to divorce me, why would she have gone through so many challenges to try and have kids?

On January 26, 2016 I had gone to my Obgyn to receive the lupron shot for my endometriosis and was surprised because I found out that I was pregnant. I ended up having an emergency salpingectomy to remove my etopic pregnancy, which my Obgyn recommended that I get the lupron shot since I was no longer pregnant. I have had issues getting pregnant for years without any birth control. With the assurance of my obgyn I would be just fine. So I was given my first lupron shot last month on February 16th and on February 19th my symptoms began. I had severe abdominal pain, back pain, and severe chest pain, which landed me in the ER. I developed severe depression and was suicidal. I called my obgyn who recommended I call my family doctor for antidepressants. My obgyn told me that she has never had a patient experience anything like I have in the 25 years she has been prescribing this medication. I eventually contacted my family doctor and had a visit with her and landed back into the ER because I was suicidal. I was legally detained for 72 hours, which they call a 5150 hold. I feel like this medication has deteriorated my life, in just a few weeks. not even a month and I have suffered so much. I continue to have extreme back pain, chest pain, joint and muscle pain, extreme fatigue, major depression and anxiety. Even typing is difficult. This drug needs to be banned!

I had 1 of 3 Lupron injections about 11 yrs ago and did not continue them because of the horrible side effects. I have been on daily medication for swelling, for depression and anxiety, bad mood changes and many of the symptoms of menopause at the age of 29! I had to have a hysterectomy a few months later because it did not relieve any of my symptoms of endometriosis. It only added more symptoms to my life at such a young age. Years later I had spinal fusion surgery for degenerative disc disease, and have more to look forward to as I get older. This changed my life in a way I had never expected.

This drug has made my daily life unbearable. The add back therapy does minimal to combat the effects of this poison. Furthermore, it has not even helped the endometriosis in the least. In addition to the pain of the disease I am now in constant physical and emotional distress from this drug. In my research I have found the court records from the fraudulent initial clinical trials of this drug involving the manufacturing pharma company. I am at a loss to understand how you allow this to remain on the market when the original clinical trials were questionable at best. This drug has NEVER been validated as safe the way other drugs have been as a result of this. There are countless people this drug has hurt and continues to. I know a class action lawsuit is in the works. What do think the public will say if the media gets wind of this drug and its damages and the fact that the original clinical trials were questionable, most likely falsified, but it is still aloud. What will the public think when they hear about this petition for your help and find out nothing was done? I am certain there will be more than a handful of votes lost.

I have endometriosis. After my second kids I was informed by my doctor my endometriosis was the worst case . At this point all my organs are sticking together. I was put in the lurpon shot. Instantly I had a terrible headache. My short term memory was even shorter. I would pass out . I could nearly get put of bed. It was a life I didn't want still waking up in pain with added lurpon side effects. My life is forever changed and I pray God can heal what male practice did wrong. It's a terrible drug .I pray God can also get this lurpon drug off the market .

I took the Lupron shot in Oct 2010 and I still have issues with hot flashes, joint pain, and vitamin D deficiency. This stuff is poison and it doesn't cure Endometriosis.

I was diagnosed with Endometriosis in 2001. In 2014 I started experiencing major pain. 2015, I took Lupron for 6 months. Currently, I am experiencing/have experienced: hot flashes, numbing in my lips, tongue, feet, legs, arms, pressure and prickly sensation in my chest, difficulty swallowing. The effects of the medicine were supposed to wear off in January 2016. I am still experiencing some symptoms and have NEW symptoms: numbing in lips/tongue/difficulty swallowing, numbing in hands, feet, sensitivity to heat in hands, fingertips go numb and have a prickly sensation after contact with heat (i.e. washing dishes, touching hot steering wheel).

i was advised by a top gynocologist at stanford university that lupron shots for 3-6 months would relieve my extreme pain, bleeding and other issues from fribroids and to avoid a hysterctomy. i was given approximately 3 minutes to read the pamphlet from the manufacturer before getting an injection. i was given an estrogen daily tablet to offset the hot flashes that i was told would return and accompany the lupron. i had a series of migraines within a few days and extreme PMS. i discontinued the estrogen and spoke with my doctor and told her it was not working. we looked at my scheduling a hysterectomy with a colleague of hers at the monthly visit and had another lupron shot. i began experiencing joint pain, hot sweats, along with issues sleeping and weight gain. unfortunately it wasn't until i had a 3rd shot that i logged on & read all the side effects and found this petition. i called my doctor's office and cancelled the next injection & told the receptionist that the doctor should not be administering this drug to anyone. there is NO WAY any women should have these injections. it is beyond belief that there were not more extensive tests & that Lupron is still on the market with the comments above and below. I believe this drug is toxic.

I was diagnosed with Endometriosis in 1999 and given several Lupron injections after my first LEEP and Laporoscopy--after which my doctor told me I was crazy and could not possibly have Endometriosis anymore. I had a full hysterectomy in 2014 to be sure all endometrium have been removed. I still suffer from a host of medical problems: Fibromyalgia, chronic migraines, chronic sinusitis, back pain, neck pain, arthritis, and more. I am 35 years old. I once read an article linking Lupron to Osteoporosis and I have reason to believe my arthritis is Osteoarthritis. If no research has been done on the long term effects of this drug, then in needs to be done because some of us would like answers. I want to know if taking Lupron when I was 19 years old is responsible for my health problems now.

I took lupron injections Oct 2015 for enlarged uterus. After taking it I had terrible bone pain, hot flashes unbearable, my memory was awful. They say the injections stay in your body for 3 months. It's February 2016. I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia now. I wish I never took lupron. It has stollen my life my mobility and my mind. I want my life back. My Dr also claims lupron did not cause me to have all these problems but yes it did I'm not crazy and someone should be held accountable for ruining our lives. Lupron is bad for you don't take a chance with your life I promise it can ruin your life

I did 6 months of lupron for endometriosis. My doctor said I would experience hot flashes, night sweats, that's it. I had my last 3 month shot October of 2015. I have not gotten m period back yet, but am in so much pain in legs, muscles, knees, ankles, back, etc. Foggy memory, numbness, etc. I just feel awful and now to find out I am not the only one who had gone through this and feel this way. I hope something is done about this. I am afraid to go doctor now after reading reviews on this stuff.

Lupron has decreased my quality of life. My fear is that it has probably decreased my longevity of life as well. I reported my symptoms to the practitioner that gave me the shot and he declines it's the Lupron and still uses it regularly with other women. I would love to see this dangerous drug be off the market before it damages other people's lives.

After being officially diagnosed with Endometriosis (laparoscopy) in December 2013, my ob/gyn told me the only way to relieve my pain and to make sure he didn't miss any lesions was to take Lupron Depot injections. It was such a horrible experience. Even with the add-back therapy of low dose progesterone; I had horrible hot flashes, mood swings, nausea, dizziness, pain during/after intercourse, pain with a full bladder (which also hurt immensely while emptying my bladder), fatigue, facial hair, hair loss, and more. The day after my second 3-month injection I went to the ER due to a severe migraine and vomiting. I was told this was just a coincidence and had nothing to do with Lupron, which I believe is a lie. After my therapy, I have been getting symptoms left and right. I was put on Depo Provera following the expiration of my last Lupron injection, once again being told this was the only way to keep my Endometriosis at bay. I continued to feel horrible and never went back for any more injections. Within 6 months I had skipped a period (first time ever in my life) and that started a cycle of irregular periods and a list of other symptoms. I have severe joint pain (especially for someone who is only 30), unable to exercise the way I used to due to high amounts of fatigue, and no matter how much I eat a whole foods diet, I still gain weight. My mood swings are horrible, which come and go at random times - ranging from extreme crying, to complete anger and rage, to no longer wanting to be around and "be a burden" to anyone. This just hits the tip of the iceberg as I am currently being treated for other issues and working on a diagnosis of a lump that has formed on my underarm. When will this madness stop? I was a very healthy and active person, now I feel like a never-ending train wreck. People need to stop being greedy at the expense of others health. It is wrong and downright disgusting! I've met so many women with similar stories. Why are we not a nation that takes care of one another? Why is it the amount in someone's bank account is more important that the life of a human? Why don't you listen to what multiple people are reporting? Is it because it is taking money out of your pocket? If that is the case, then you are a low-life who doesn't deserve to be part of a committee that decides the fate of others. In all of the cases of crazy lawsuits, why does something like this with complete merit get ignored? I could continue to rant, but if you don't see my point by now, then I would continue to waste my breath.
