I am commenting on behalf of William Fuller who has been incarcerated since he was 14 years old. He is now 38 years old. He was recently denied parole..for whatever reason I do not know. He hasn't been in trouble. He has completed everything he was told to do. So what is going on??

Lifers are not getting a chance like they should like my father who has been incarcerated for 36 years when given 25 to life with parole he still has no date he has done everything and anything that the board has told him to do every two years he presents his self in front of them he is denied. My father was 26 when he went in and now he is 58 years old and he has changed tremendously.

In 1990, My son Larry barbine Jr. Was sentenced to life in Georgia for murder at the age of 15. He has been denied parole six times in spite of good institutional conduct, voluntary participation in various programs, attendance at ga. Military college on a ga. Pell grant, several trades from technical colleges in ga.,and most importantly, he has a very large family support system that coupled with his own efforts will ensure he becomes a productive member of society. It's quite obvious that my son is not the same person he was when he committed this crime, a child. The Georgia pardons and parole board are dropping the ball in a lot of areas. Thank you for your time.
