I have $35,000 in student loan debt I have my Masters in Nursing Education which is accredited but cannot even begin to pay $350 a month. As a nurse I serve the public through direct patient care in Emergency Rooms and I teach new nurses. Apparently the govt thinks I am uber rich and win the power ball or something!

I was a student of UOP, still have lots of debt to pay back. I still cannot use my degree I obtain through this "school". I thought going back to school online would help me with my future career since I cannot afford community college or time for sit down classes. I felt like enrolling in the school was equivalent to joining scientology or purchasing a new car from a salesman.

My wife will end up having paid close to 60k for an associates degree that didn't advance her career at all.

With a promise of being a transferrable accredited university I decided to sign up only to find out that none of their credits were accepted to the college I now attend. Now I'm paying off a debt that's not worth a thing.

I was scammed by their recruiter who told me that I wouldn't have to worry about the tuition. They took all my financial aid and accepted the student loans that I qualified for and still required me to pay out of pocket expenses. I now have over 50k debt because of UOP. I am a single mother of two children and our only source of income is my full-time job.

My degree was worthless. I was homeless for 4 years because I could not find stable work. Now, I have lost 2 jobs because of student debt collection agencies. UOP told me their job placement was next to none. My debt needs forgiven or else I will have none again.

I went against my better judgement and went to this school. I didn't realize the amount of debt I would get into and that the degree would be useless. 5 years later I am no where near the field I want to be in and the degree is not worth the paper it was written on!

Since earning a MS Degree in BA with UOPX, I have not been successful gaining employment in business. UOPX does not have a good reputation in the business sector. I was working as an Executive Assistant making 75K per year and now cannot find a job in business. I am also told that because I have a MS Degree, I am overqualified for administrative jobs. This is very frustrating because I worked very hard for my degree and graduated with honors.

Two years with these people and for what please somebody take this foolishness off my credit. Why should we have to pay for something that has no value, paying for a degree that is not acknowledged. Who do I need to contact?

When I attended University of Phoenix online I was a stay at home mom. I wasted 2 years of my life staying up late with horrible migrans from looking at a computer for several hours... for nothing. My degree was completed 5 years ago and still, no company recognizes my AA in criminal justice. Also, (not sure if it's suppose to be specified) my degree only says Associate of Arts. Doesn't say anything about criminal justice. I was told the school was accredited and they would help me find a job. Neither were true. $31k in debt for nothing.

Useless associates degree - can't even use it to continue my bachelor's degree at an actual brick and mortar accredited college now... wasted time, money and efforts!

Went to get my associate degree, when I was half way I found out this University degrees are useless to most employers. They do not recognize the diplomas from this University. I was left with a bunch of debts in student loans!

I was working on a degree in software at the university of phoenix and eventually just quit the program because the teachers didn't even have any practical knowledge of what they were teaching. I had already been in the field for five years and I just wanted the degree to back me up, but since I wasn't learning anything and in fact had to teach some of the other students, I got fed up and quit.

I recieved a bachelors degree in business management. I also have an associates in accounting. I have applied to many places; banks, factories, and law offices to name a few. I couldn't even get a bank teller job. I now have a part time job at the post office, only making $250.00 a week on a good week, but my student loans are still at least one paycheck a month. Thought it would be better after I graduated!!

I was talked into starting online classes right after having a baby, which was way too much pressure. I completed all but two classes I needed for a master's degree when I conveniently landed in academic probation. This college is a scam. Their credits are not accepted anywhere else. Now I have no degree and a ton of debt.

I bought the sell. You're never too old, and it's never too late to learn, and we will help you achieve your dreams, blah blah. I worked so hard and got a degree and then began to wonder how it is they can teach without using legitimate professors... and I learned a hard lesson about relative experience that they never told me about, always believing I could work hard and change my career by getting this "highly accredited and recognized" degree. No real support, very large debt. I feel like a class A fool.
