Yes the school is a joke. They price things in a way to where GA Hope program would not cover total cost of admission. When life happened to me. They were not helpful in allowing me.a break and then to return at a later date.

No company or the government is accepting the transcript of the University of Phoenix stating"Not accredited". I lost my job since this was the main requirement of having a BS in Information Technology.

I owe over $100,000 in debt. My loans have been deferred and are now in default because I am unable pay them and eat. I do not have a career that allows me to have the type of income needed to pay my loans and I am often overlooked on education at job interviews because it was an online degree.

This school is a sham, and should be held accountable for its actions. Its known as a degree farm in any industry out there. I was also not aware that this college wasn't accredited, which also made my degree even more worthless.

I got lured in by their marketing reps to attend Axia college for my associated degree and then to University of Phoenix for my bachelor's degree. After I graduated, I was unable to utilize any of the degrees I obtained to advance in any of the companies I have worked for because they said the college was not accredited. I was lied to by the representative in that it would enhance my career and further my position in management. This degree and college a joke. Not to mention the overpriced tuition this school charges students.

I had to drop out after my son had to have brain surgery and I was in my student teaching courses. They said they needed proof right away. I was in the hospital with my son and told them I could not do it until he was out. I was able to send it after a couple months. Then they hounded me about some kind of course work I had to do because I had to drop out of the course. Now I find they put that I'm on suspension, which will show up on my transcript. No one told me I was on suspension. Also they are holding my transcripts hostage until I pay $400, which they should have taken out of my loan money, and also that they told me I did not need to pay. They put me with an abusive teacher to observe and ignored my complaints about the teacher. I have been unable to get a job with any of the degrees and I have over a hundred thousand dollars in debt from this school.

I graduated several years ago with a bachelors of Science in business management as well as attended Axia college where I received an Associates in criminal justice. I have applied to so many jobs where I've been denied its not funny. I am currently employed in a job that has nothing to do with my higher education and where I don't make enough money to pay back my loans. I am called and emailed constantly my Navient to pay back my huge loans. I was under the impression that I would come out of online college with an amazing career. It's very hard considering my gpa was 3.7 and I now feel it was for nothing.

The admissions and financial advisers both lied to me in order to get me into the school. I was upfront about the fact that I did not want nor could I afford loans. I was told that was not an issue and that they would get that all set up for me with grants and scholarships. I'm now struggling to find a way to pay off a completely useless education, contrary to what was promised to me in the beginning.

I have a useless degree and cannot get a job to save my life with UOP as the institution. Now I just leave the degree along with the institution off my resume, which sucks because most decent jobs require a Bachelors degree.

I also went to school there at UOP and have not been able to get a well paying job as they stated. Now I am in several thousands of dollars in debt and employers look at the school as if you just purchased your degree verses earning it. Rip off.

I have never been able to use my BS in Business Management from the UOP. I ended up taking a job in a field that didn't require a degree just so I could pay back my student loans and support my family. When I applied for jobs I was qualified for, employers didn't take my degree serious. I'm now in a graduate program for a field completely unrelated to my undergraduate degree. I really had to prove myself to even be accepted into graduate school due to attending UOP. I was told if it wasn't for my GRE scores and coursework I did at another university to meet prerequisites, I would not have been accepted. My total student loan debt will be astounding when I'm finished. The UOP made all these promises that with a BS in Business Management, I would have NO problems finding a job. The only thing I gained from that "school" was debt, embarrassment, and shame. You know your "school" has a bad reputation when silence follows your response to answering where you received your undergraduate degree. No one knows how hard I worked to earn that degree. I'm proud of what I accomplished, I will forever regret where I did it. I don't feel like I should be saddled with this debt when it will never benefit me.

Hello, The University of Phoenix was very misleading in regards to how much tuition was per class. Something I felt was very suspicious with my enrollment counselor after I took 3 classes then I dropped out. I was hit with a big debt bill afterwards that didn't make sense to me.

I took classes for University of Phoenix's MBA program. Not only did I know more than my instructors, who were immensely unhelpful, but the materials were outdated, The message boards were often nonfunctional, causing assignments to be late, which resulted in poor grades and additional fees to retake classes. The advertising was aggressive and misleading, and the debt collection for classes were even worse. I pulled out of the program before I finished my MBA because I discovered that they were regionally accredited, not nationally accredited. This is something that they did NOT state when they first recruited me to their college 10 years ago. Where I lived at the time, their degree was worthless. I still owe about $7,000 on my student loan, and all I can think is, "Thank God I pulled out before I acquired any further debt."

I went to school there with the expectation of a better future. Employers have literally laugh when the ask me for the name of the school. I no longer listed on my resume because MANY employers have no respect for it.
