Pl. look into the benefits that these highly skilled people can bring into the economy. Pl. pass a law to recapture the unused visas to reduce the years of backlog..

I have been in this country since the past 10 years. I have two masters degree from US universities. It will take an estimated 15-20 more years for me to seek green card. I am already in line since the past 3 years. I will not be able to contribute more efficiently unless this backlogs are reduced. We are hard working dedicated people who followed the rules and stayed in line for so long. Please be fair and provide us some relief so that we can become a more integrated member contributing more efficiently.

The visa bulletin is not published on the USCIS website. It is published on the Department on State website.

Past 10 years continuously residing in this country. Never went out this country from 10 years onwards. Applied 485 4 years back. Bought the house in 4 years back. No moments in 485 applications. Frustraiting all these. Please do something which fulfill some happiness in our lives.

This can be fixed through legislation effort or admin fix. I would like to see this simple change in the law to eliminate the current backlog or future backlog. Since I-140 application is actual application for employment based immigrant petition i.e Green Card, once person's I-140 is approved by USCIS and he is put in to waiting state for more than 5 five years. His application should be considered for adjudication with out using any per country limits. Up on I-140 approval, if applicant is waiting for more than 10 yrs. applicant should have an eligibility to apply for citizenship.

I am a legal immigrant, a tax payer, pay my social security dues and contribute to the society in ways I can. My green card application (EB3-India) is pending since 2004. I have a master's degree in computer science. Since I was born in India my green card application is stuck in this never ending backlog. Congress is busy worrying about illegal immigrants, when legal immigrants like me are stressed out with the green card process. We have to stick to the same job, turn down promotions, my wife, who is a qualified physical therapist can't work on an H4 visa. I urge congress to provide some relief to problems faced by legal immigrants. Thank you, Mahesh

I have been waiting from 10 years. This really impairs me from doing anything worthwhile. I also have bought a house and contributing a lot to the economy. Really tired of wait, if this continues for another 2 yrs, then I might as well sell or foreclose the house and return to India. For the past 3 yrs, I did not go back due to the housing market. Did not want to do a foreclosure or short sale....

11 years in the country legally every minute with an MS (Master of Science in Engineering) and wife going to Dental School in New York. Paid taxes for every penny earned so far but have been waiting for my PR for over 7 years with no guarantee on life. Supporting wife's dental education by paying out of pocket as I do not qualify for student loans. Please be fair to the people who wants to immigrate legally to this country.
