Please refer to page 35 of CIS Ombudasman's report 2010 submitted to Congress. The statistics on unused visa number since 1992 to 2009 is presented in Figure 19. The sum total of unused visa under EB category is 506,410. Out of this figure, 180,039 visa numbers were re-captured by special legislation in the recent past. Please pass another legislation to re-capture the rest of the numbers. This is the best way to clear the backlog.REPORT COMMENTS

I have sent many letters/emails to voice my concern and I am an EB3-I applicant and have been waiting patiently for almost 7 years to see any forward movement. Its not fair that people who have less experience get their application approved because they filed in EB-2 category and that too several years after we filed ours. All I am telling is to be fair and process applications especially, EB3-I which are pending for several years.REPORT COMMENTS

The request aptly describes the hardships faced by H1 folks. Making changes to existing laws is advantageous to both the american economy and the individuals.REPORT COMMENTS

Respected Honorable Congress, We have been legally living in US for the past 12 years and paying taxes. Our GC is pending with USCIS for the past so many years(more than 8 years). We are forced to pay international fees (more than double the amount residents pay) for the colleges even though my sons got very good scores in SAT like 2250/2400 and 4 GPA. Our kids are not even considered for merit scholar ships. We are having a tough time to get even student loans since we are considered as international. If we had GC, college education in public schools would have been much easier for my sons and they would have joined in better schools. I would like to request honorable Congress to consider all the troubles which are faced by the people who are living legally, paying taxes and participating in nation's economy.REPORT COMMENTS

Please expedite Green Card process. Been in this country for almost 11 years now, attended grad school. I love the U.S, have paid taxes all along, obeyed the law, bought a house resently. Green card is still a long wait. Unless some change happens might take me another decade or more to get a green card. Please give us some relief. Hope we see the Change..REPORT COMMENTS

It's strange to notice that this nation was built by Immigrants and how LEGAL immigrants are being treated now. Are LEGAL immigrants just cash cows? Most of these folks are highly educated, have decent high paying jobs and are contributing to US economy. Still nobody cares about them. I would like to request Congress to seriously consider reducing huge backlogs which would enable these LEGAL immigrants to contribute even more to the nation's economy. Thanks.REPORT COMMENTS
