The struggle for a normal daily life is real. Even with medication and understanding, an average day is riddled with missed minutes, mistakes and forgotten moments. I am narcoleptic and trying hard to stay employed and useful in todays society.Mar 17th, 2016Someone from Windham, NH signed.

I have narcolepsy and everything written here and more is an everyday struggle for me. I have a job that won't accommodate me because of there own stipulations they don't have to go by the EEOC. That's not right either. Please sign to help all of us who do have it, feel safe. Thank youREPORT COMMENTS

I have Narcolepsy with Cataplexy. This makes it terribly difficult for daily functioning. I can barely work part time and can't rely on medication to be consistent enough to maintain a reliable job. Please add narcolepsy. There is no cure and it affects negatively me every day. I applied a year ago and was immediately denied based solely on the fact that narcolepsy was not "on the list." Thank you for your attention to this matter!REPORT COMMENTS

I suffer from Narcolepsy. I have struggled for all of my adult and teenage life. Because of automatic behavior, microsleep episodes, Cataplexy, and severe cognitive issues due to excessive sleepiness, I have not been able to maintain any type of stable employment, despite my best efforts. I have been homeless and on the brink of it. I feel as if this illness has destroyed any chance I have for a future.REPORT COMMENTS
