I was diagnosed in September 2015. Before diagnosis I was a school bus driver making just enough to survive. Since then I have been demoted to a bus monitor and a $300 pay reduction. I chose to continue to work for the school board because of the benefits and part time schedule but it's very hard for me to even keep food in the house with this salary and still not eligible for any other assistance.
